Normally there are two VIP table. I have only one. And never leave your red table with empty seat. We might not have enough VIP for both table so I hav decided for one. Two families into one VIP table.
Mine colour combination is red and black. Not many elderly allow that so it will all depend on your parents. I love red and black combination this is why I have choosen that.
I Recommend my photographer. Every one is impressed by his service. He gave out instant photos on that nite to my guests. Moreover during dinner he will put all photos that were taken during the day and nite. Have you fixed your photographer? No regret to take him. =)
The table layout wise there is no problem in walking from table to table with the capacity of 32 tables. =)
 
Hi Ling, i will be holding my wedding at this hotel in sep. Initially still have doubts but you certainly put the confidence in me...

also who is your photographer? can you share with us his work and website? hope to hear from you soon as i am in the midst of getting a photgrapher for my banquet.

Did anyone have their solemnization at the warerfall area? Was there enough space for the guests to stand around?

I'm intending to hold my solemnization and AD on the same day. My coordinator offered us the waterfall area or a function room (same level as the ballroom) for the solemnization at no extra charge.

Congrats! I'm a sept bride... i am also intending to hv 32 tables but heard tat the most they can accomodate is only 30 tables (tat means 28 tables + 2extra)... stressed out.. striking names... but seen from ure positive feedback... feel so much relieved! can share ure pics to [email protected]

I am back. I have sent the pictures to all those however those did not receive please do let me know.
Last year I receive pictures from someone in this forum and I was totally dishearten about the colour setting of the ballroom.. But there is nothing I can do as I have booked the ballroom. However, I was impressed with their layout that nite and most importantly the food was great.
We did a L-Shaped march in, everything went on well. Gals and guys no worries. It might look old but those who attended are impressed with their service. The important thing is that all guest are pleased.
My photographer did a gd job that nite. His service impressed the guest. You may consider him. Lam photography. Any doubts. Feel free to ask ok?

Hi ladies,

I will be meeting Henry this Sat to view the place and if have time, may also view their bridal suites (if available at that time la).

Has anyone seen the ballrooms? How many of them? Have any columns? But actually, these are quite minor things for me la..I really like their menu though..heard that it will be prepared by a Master Chef right? Was it from their restaurant at the hotel?

Can I check with you the contract which you signed, under the F & B, it indicated specially 8 course ......by master chef of chinese restaurant? Is yours like that too?Cos I checked Henry how come not indicate park palace..he say confirm is park palace. Just want to check to make myself assured. =)
 
Just visited GPPH this afternoon...have a long talk with Henry who was so patient with us! Kind of regretted never signing up with them at last month's wedding show...hahaha!

Like the overall ambience of the hotel...quite cosy and heard that the food at Park Palace is good! That's one thing I like about food being prepared by restaurants in hotels. If they can have a restaurant running in the hotel, their food can't be that bad right?

my FH not in sg, thinking asking henry to extend the dateline. wonder if it is possible?

thinking of changing the dishes on the menu. Do we have to let henry know first before signing the contract?

Nope, we were not entitled for perks from the wedding show already...cos I met up with Henry after the show. Strictly no extension of deadline...but of course, you can still sign up with them, just that you won't get to enjoy the perks from the show..

As for the dishes, you can change those dishes on a like-to-like basis..actually, if you want 'better' dishes, you can simply just top-up. They are quite flexi on this..

if ur date is not those hot date, maybe u may wan to wait for their next show, seem that there is another show in ard sept. then u may entitle to more perks
 
Yes, I agree with elyn...but don't think my HTB and I can wait till that long..cos even though ours is not a hot date, it's still a weekend afterall..

elyn, did you sign up with GPPH as well?

Thanks for the replies. Actually I have signed up during the wedding show with Henry.

I have just received the contract which was mailed to me and has to be signed before 25th April. But my FH is not in sg, so I wish to extend the dateline.

Also thinking of changing the dishes on the menu, so womdering if this should be mention before signing the contract.
 
changing of the dishes on the menu can be done during your food tasting or when the day is nearer. Usually hotels are quite flexible about this. Cox some of them may eventually need to top up some more $ for better food
