I just met Eric on last Sat after we signed up the promotional package early this year (around Mar 2006, with Citibank promotion i.e for booking more then 15 tables, one complimentary table free).

We only go down to take a look for the cards available, not manage to get any extra perks.

I got the standard perks such as :

• Complimentary usage of LCD (standard)
• Complimentary food tasting for 10 persons (came with the promotion, without the promotion will be 6 persons)
• Wavier of corkage + Wine charge (came with the promotion)
• Parking passes for 25% of the confirmed attendance (standard)
• 2 VIP table + reception table

You manage to get the corkage wavier? Eric told corkage cost $15. And can't wavier off.

Did you get free flow of beer or any complimentary for wine?

The corkage wavier came with the Citibank promotion.

Free flow of beer as long as you are having their Regal or Loyal menu.

No complimentary wine for me.

Yar, that's the one I chose (referring to pic). I asked for envelopes and paid extra for the envelopes.
 
ivy, u buy the envelope fr the printer or eric? how much? is it a square envelope too? Did u print ur name on the red strip? how much extra?

I went straight to Focal-Ad. Got both the cards and envelopes from the printer. Yes, it's square, but 30cts per pcs cos of quality of paper used. think it was about 90 - 100gsm.

Yes, we printing our names on the red strip. The mold should be about $13.50, if I didn't remember wrongly. The mold would be returned.

Hehe... did not ask much, cos we were both rushing to another printer for our church wedding invites.

May I know what is the usual price for a bottle of red wine? CC is offering $20++ per bottle…is the price reasonable?

Thanks. I think the red one is too red for me. Hee...think i will choose the ivory colored card if there are only these 2 choices.

Eric has not sent me samples of their wedding cards or contacted me yet. So i am not sure if i hv to call him or he will automatically contact me to select card, food tasting etc.

Any ideas?

in this case, i would encourage you to be the proactive one. I was the one who called / emailed Eric about the food-tasting and the invite cards.

Btw, there are 4 designs of wedding cards that you can choose from.

Lyn, ya u ve to b pro-active in calling him to get the samples of the invites send to ur hse & also arrange the food tasting. Btw Eric is on leave till 18th of this month.

I think you have to pay for 15 tables to get 1 free tables. The minimum tables is 20 so during the promo, u actually pay for 19 tables prices for 20 tables.
 
Hi, I've signed up with CC in may for my AD in dec'07. did nt signed during the promotion, juz called eric, viewed the place n signed up. the perks i was given is basically the same as the ones given during the promotion except it doesn't have the free 1table with every 15tables

when i was looking at the CC, Eric has told me dat i can choose between personalised stamps or mini chocs. but i tink i wun want to gif personalised stamps coz nt sure if anyone will juz throw it into the dustbin... lol.. mini chocs at least sure goes into someone stomach. but i'm tinking of getting extra favours out of my own pocket
 
bluberi, actually i plan to do my own personalised stamp for my guests. mayb i can ask eric if i can change. heehee thanks.
 
Hi ladies

My wedding will be held @ CC restaurant. Have selected a dark purple colour evening gown with shiny black colour beads on top. Do you think this colour may too dull for the cosy atmosphere in the restaurant?

the restaurant itself is abit dark but veri cosy.. maybe u can close a brighter color... or maybe ask eric if u can choose the table cloth to a brighter color..
 
yea sound too dark for the area. maybe u can check with him on the lights issue. otherwise get more shinning stuffs like crystals to be sewn onto yr EG
 
hey gals, but the ballroom undergo renovation this yr is now much brighter than b4. more to white compared to last time dark dark.
 
mitzi, the colour theme is onli wif the flowers & table cloth lor. think flowers got 3 colours white, pink, red. table cloth also got a few colours too. hope i answer ur question.

Hi, my contract stated only chocolate so do u all think i could ask for the personalised stamps too? I hope Eric allows cos i prefer the stamp than chocolate. ;)

Alexia, my AD is 22 Dec 2007, still a long long way to go. Eric showed mi the stamps when i met up wif him in May.

Lyn, the personlised stamps is the one u can get fm S'pore post. which is like two stamps linked together, one is ur photo and one is the local stamp.

Alexia, i booked early coz i scared all the goods places is grabbed. yes, i went to a geomancer for dates, paid $100. my BS is bridal de couture, but i feel like changing BS.
 
Bluberi, icic...hee...tats something special.. ;) I called Eric up to request tat he send me the wedding card designs as i nvr see them b4 at the point of booking my banquet. He told me they would be changing the cards' design. However, he told me this afternoon tat till now they still not change them.

Alexia, yours coming soon...so ur prep is more or less done? Btw, u mentioned tat Orchard Parade Antica Ballroom had underwent a renovation early this yr. Do u hv any photos of the newly renovated ballroom? Can share with me at [email protected]. Me with Whitelink. Yours? ;)
 
Lyn, i also did nt see the designs of the wedding cards. heard dat the lights in the ballroom wil be changed and there will be new themes available.
 
Bluberi, oh Eric din tell me abt the new themes for this yr. Maybe i had booked my banquet in Oct last yr and decision is not finalised yet.

Your is still far so maybe things change again in 1 yr time. :p
