Thought I would just share some experiences I had with A&D (Raymond).
I did my first house renovation with him and everything went very well. My house was very well done, hence after 3 years, I decided to do some more renovation works with them again.
They are currently working on my house and I can seriously say that I'm extremely disappointed with them. Many problems cropped up along the way and I personally feel that Raymond is simply too busy to handle my account and instead of the nice, easy going self we knew 3 years ago, he has become very self centred, maybe because business is growing for them!
Here are the problems I faced:
1. Wrong toilet tiles were delivered to my home. They were the same design but of the wrong colour!! Luckily I decided to pop by my place for a look and discovered that mistake. When I called Raymond, he got defensive and insisted that I mistook the colour! My god, did he think I was colour blind? However, I insisted he check my order (which he did) and got back to me saying that he wrote the order correctly but the supplier delivered the wrong tile colour. The tiles were then exchanged.
2. This just happened today. I'm simply so upset. I am buying a new toilet bowl(WC) for my MBR because the WC was faulty. However, because I am laying over a new set of toilet tiles for both toilets, both WCs (kitchen and MBR) had to be removed first. The contractors hence were told to throw away one set of the WC, presumably from my MBR as I would be getting a new one. However, as I arrived at my home today, I realised to my horror that the workers had thrown away the good WC from my kitchen toilet and left the faulty WC behind!
I was so furious and called Raymond asking what happened!! He got very defensive and insisted that his workers had thrown away the right WC (MBR). However, as we had changed the flushing system in the MBR WC, we were extremely sure they had left behind the faulty WC instead. Raymond checked and kept calling us back to insist his workers had thrown the correct WC away.
Me and my hubby just grew angrier and angrier. Who could know the WCs better than us? We insisted he go down to our house to take a look at the condition of the WC they left behind. After that, Raymond didn't bother calling us back anymore.
It seems to me now that I am FORCED to buy an additional WC for the kitchen toilet as there is no point putting the faulty WC back into the kitchen toilet anymore!!
My goodness... I am still fuming mad!! He is simply too irresponsible! I do hope that he doesn't try to test my patience anymore because there is a limit to it.
He had better settle this problem for me soon!!
