I like the big peony lah, actually not much choice coz only 1 shop was open tt day when I went down.

Thanks for the compliments on the CS & WG. WG with ribbon in front is for AD, CS is for tea-dress (made with a seamstress), EG is more for PS may use for AD. WG at botanic gdns is outdoor WG.

So far me no problems.. I have abt estimate number of 450 guests and cards I printed abt 290 cards. Hotel wont charge u extra if U take the additional cards by adding additional tables. :p

It is a trade off lor, dunno leh, I thought better than giving the hotel too many tables.. unless u sure u can fill up. what u can do is go through ur list and count how many minimum guests u have.. (those who die die will come one), It really helps. Else use inserts, print more inserts and then when not enough cards, get from hotel
 
hi daphne, i am flying in the afternoon around 3pm heheh i more worried cos my mum is going, i worried that we may have toa light from the plan and walk the long stairs down, do you think it will happen? i worried about my mum cos she has hypertension and did not take plane for a long time.

Not sure about the stairs...the other time i took valueair to jkt, i don't remember the long stairs though...not sure about HK. I only remember the air stewardess singing to us in plane. it's a very relaxed and casual feeling with valueair.

That means u having 45 tables? I have confirmed 35 tables excluding reserve though we invited 400 guest. Hotel only gv us 250 cards. For extra cards, they do charge as their cards were outsourced by American wedding treasure and each card is quite ex. I already negotiated from original 50% to 70 percent invites. Mine is hot stamping thus no inserts. Our guest are mostly colleagues and friends, relative less than 8 tables only thus need to use alot of cards.
 
caitlyn, yup true abt wedding being the one to experiment with something diff. guess we will hv to try and see how the diff colours will suit us. hee...coz sometimes the colours really i thk dun suit mi. or the dresses i see for the EG. act in the mags, i hardly can find any EG that i really like yet.

hey can get very nice & cheap kuas there too besides CS...better den the ones BS usually provide. coz mi grandauntie got it fr there for her daughters and i intend to borrow it fr her too.
 
hi girls, my first fitting is in 4 weeks, but I can't seem to find any shoes that I like and is of the right height. I can't remember how many weeks it takes for paradox to finish a pair of MTM shoes. Any idea?

yah, it does come in different sizes.. from A to D. yalor, this one oso got a clip in front.. ur EG cannot put padding ar? my EG cannot.. front part got a translucent V shape thus cannot put padding..

i hv not chosen my AD WG yet.. actualli the gown selections was meant jus for my PS .. its jus tat i paid extra $$ for the blue CS after tryin tat gown.. and the BS told me if im interested, they will let me use it for PS AND AD, tats y i took it.. I shld b choosin my AD WG and EG smtm in June or July

the tour agency told me that for value air maybe need to change to bus when we reach HK leh, that means touch down, have to switch to bus then can reach the main airport, not sure if it is liek that.

winnie, err......not too sure about that cos i only took once with valueair to jkt and i didn't need to take the bus. it's possible that you need to take bus to reach airport...

Say, are they going to adjust the Halter straps? Maybe it's the camera angle or if it's intentional, the first pic of your EG, the right strap looks low than your left...

the bare back netting will have some of the same embroidery as on the rest of the WG.

actually i din ask about mens shirt. we'll be getting our own. it's quite cheap to tailor make, around 80-120 per shirt. we go to oxford tailor @ OUB ctr. otherwise, i heard peninsula plaza got one cheaper.

My max table can be 45 tables, but I only confirming abt 36 tables now.. my invite cards is like 80% and they give me some extras so I have 290 cards in total. I thought if u further confirm more tables.. then they can give u more cards FOC?

yah.. but his place is in the north n my parents requested we move near them.. my fh agreed on condition tt he sells his place.. so now got to sell that place first lor.. that's my prob! sighz. act the sad thg is tt he's spent a bomb on reno to do it up, with interior designer n all.. so quite heartpain to sell also... tt's why evtime i hear some of them got new place, doing up the place.. always feel very happy for them.. wish i were in that stage too..
