I was reading his email to me again and noticed the title....

Farewell & New Services Manager

From the looks of it, Christopher Lee is the new service manager? William is currently the Banquet Sales Manager, however his last day is this friday....

I just got my email from William. Mine is Christopher Lee as well... tsk tsk...

Anyway i think to make things easier, we must make sure we koe what our contract has and what we want... so that there will be less confusion and margin of error by the new guy... He will be new to the organization no matter he has past experience or not lah...

Whose AD is up next? Mine is July 10

Ya i just rcv William's email too, also taken over by Christopher Lee. (make me think of Fann Wong's hubby~~Haha). Ya hope he is a nice guy, my wedding on Nov 10.

w3n: The march is for L shape i heard can only be for fewer tables.. i have 30 tables, so have to do 2 sides march in and then meet at centre ... like Y shape...
 
I just met up with Chris today. He seems like a nice guy but due to the fact that he is new, he wasn't sure of what the new promotion is. But he immediately gave a call to someone and gave us the information we needed shortly.

By the way, anyone went for food tasting recently? How is it and is the food portion sufficient??

do u need to pay additional for the waterfall area to do ur ROM? need to pay for the setup and flowers? Thanks.
 
antz, you will need to check with your respective wedding planner for that... can't really quote me...

reason being, the exact package and breakdown differs... hope you can understand...

likewise, some forumers had mentioned that they were able to confirm their weekend dates for only 20 tables... errr... i have no comments about that...

My food-tasting's over & I am happy to comment that the food portion was quite satisfactory. They would usually leave a feedback form for you at the beginning of the session, & you can fill in your feedbacks after trying the different dishes. After food-tasting, they would collect back the form & have a discussion with the chef regarding the feedbacks. I can share the pictures with you if you are interested. Just leave your email address.

when is your BIG DAY? for food tasting, it is usually done like 3 months prior to the actual day right?

not sure how its like for GPCH?
 
for the coming wedding fair in april, do u all have any idea whether is for 2010 banquet or 2011 banquet also can? thanks!

The dish is Roast Crispy Whole Chicken Topped with Fried Enoki Mushrooms. I really love this dish as the chicken was really tender & well seasoned. The fried enoki mushrooms were super crispy & frangrant, thus a better substitute for the traditional prawn crackers.

glad to hear that the chicken dish is nice! cause the arrangement of the chicken looks abit messy so i was wondering what that was hee. thanks!

btw the march in fan fare is smoke or bubbles? Do u all know if we need to pay extra for halal pax and vegetarian?

i like the first dish. makes me hungry haha =)
 
Antz... the food at indulge was good for the price... however for lunch, the spread wasn't that much.. nevertheless, you still have your usual spread of international food, with lots of cheese stuff (for cheese lovers), japanese food, asian food and etc... the dessert corner was great...

$32++/pax for the buffet... not forgetting there was a promotion with citibank, entitling us to 15% off...

the food served is fresh.. raw salmon, raw octopus, snow crabs, raw scallops, mussels, big cooked prawns and etc were among the seafood section..
 
Antz, i can only say.. everyone had at least 3 rounds of the food.. even my solemniser, Mr Chia Ti Yu had about 4 rounds.. hahaa

so that goes to say about the quality of the food.. they even had durian puree... very nice..

we had 16 seats reserved for us at the atrium, outside of the restaurant... the ambience and etc was very nice... great for small group gathering...

I just met up with Christopher yesterday. I think we are all in good hands cos he previously hail from Meritius Mandarin.

Hes very helpful and gave us clear instructions on follow up steps of the wedding and thus I can now start preparing in advance.

And good news, the range of favors have improved by leaps and bounds from last year as well...

w3n: Go for the wedding show bah, Chris mentioned that they will have packages for 2010 and 2011.

Halal and vegeterian is individual count per pax, unless u make enough for one table.

chocolatepraline: Thanks for the pic! The portions are okie? I got eleven pple on some tables cos they are a family i cannot break.
 
ya will attend the wedding show but thinking of confirming the package before the show cause the dates i want is hot.

anyway, when u all go visit the hotel ballroom, is it lock? can we only view the ballroom when there is a staff around? thinking of just popping by when we are free.
