I did not asked for the wedding show invite but got it in my mail on friday, a day before the event.

Maybe you did not sign up under the promotion package with the park gold card?

I signed up with the hotel when they have the park gold park promotion in late august.
 
Winter, I have signed with park gold card. S$288 right? So sad they missed me out

I've called Janice & she has arranged for me to view the ballroom this Fri abt 630pm..

Weixiang & Bling, beside viewing ballroom, did they show u the suite as well?
 
Pris: yup.. they showed us the suite.. in fact, just a couple of posts above, you would see my review of the suites... the suites have nothing much to shout about.. haha...

is there a wedding dinner this Fri? else why would Janice allow you to view an empty ballroom? if that's the case, can i gatecrash? keke..

a group of us went to see...
den after tat another grp came in..
den we still in the room..
when we abt to leave, the staff we brought us was not ard liao..
den we went back to the ballroom.. haha..
 
Pris: Maybe they were too busy with the wedding fair, on that day itself, the consultation room really look like clinic with all the couples waiting at the side.. hehe. Enjoy your visit!!
 
jiening & blur btb: can i check with you all.. for the collection of the wedding invites from T&T, does it come with envelopes and inserts? i understand that printing is not included...

thinking of going elsewhere to print my invites..

anyone has the template which you are so kind to share? keke.. thank you so much.
 
yoz, the rooms are actually quite good. the room romantic or not may not be the most impt lah... they are spacious and clean and your helpers or family members can gather there before the ceremony.

Then after that its good to have a place to shower n zz... the bed is v soft! I din even know what is the suite i used! haha.... the service is so good that i was busy watchin tv and eating after the banquet.

weixiang: when you pick up the cards, they will ask you if you want to print there or not. if not, they will give you the envelopes n the map insert to go ith it!

i research a bit on the carparks with per entry parking in the area and printed the info on my home printer at the back.

went to see the setup yesterday. Hmm..the stage area is quite plain and dull with the old theme. anyone knows if can request to have a sash bow or a nicer piece of cloth for new theme as background?
The rest is pretty impressive

hi all, the Manhattan Card gives 5% cash rebate if you spent SGD 3k n above, but there is cap on the rebate as well. please do find out, I find it giving the best return among all cards if u are spending on big items.
 
Posion pot> I will b using Manhattan Card to pay my banquet. I signed up half a year ago, already got my 1st rebate BUT it is not in cheque, it comes in rebate to your card. Meaning u can use it to pay off anything using your card.

Initially wanted to let my helpers to pay, so each pay $6k n get $300 (5%)rebate. The more cards u used the more cash to get back cuz cap is at $300 cash rebate for every 3months. So guess will still ask helpers to use their card but don't intend to get back the $300, cuz too troublesome to ask them give us that $300 cash.

Maybe just give them as a token of paying up the banquet first for us. =)

Yes, Manhattan Card is under stand chart. True enough, it is the best rebate ever in Spore Market.
 
can i know the canapes, is the waitress going around with the trays? if i place at the candy/ dessert corner table would be be weird? any comments?

w3n: From my understanding, the server will be moving ard the reception area with the canapes.. You may want to chk with ur coordinator if you can leave the canapes at your candy/dessert corner table..

MemorableChocolate: happy preparations.. mine is less than 3 months away.. will be meeting up with Christopher for partial payment.. The rest will be settled on the AD by my card and my wife's card.

other BTBs, you can make use of this to get cash back. In fact, for wedding banquets its good to do progressive payment. Leaving 12k to be footed on the AD. Maximise the cash back.
 
u mean besides the deposit of 3k, u all pay more first before the banquet? because of the cashback that the credit card gives? sorry i abit out of topic!
 
yup yup, that day at the wedding show I just told Janice I want to make 1k prepayment (cause I already spent more than 2k for the month) and she gladly help me to process it.

I am making plans to make partial payment every quarter to get the rebates.
 
We are interested in holding our wedding banquet in GPCH, but we are a little tight budget. Does any one have their 2011 package list? What perks is included?

do they offer free beer and wine (red/white) during the wedding show?

there was free flow beer perk during the show but not wine..
but if i rem correctly, i think its valid for weddings in 2010 only...
cos i saw someone posted tat he/she sign for 2011 but din get the free flow veer..

the others pls correct me if i'm wrong.. =)
