looking at 25 tables...
budget maybe not more than $800?
i am not too sure abt budget yet... just sourcing hotels 1st...
 


hmm i think from past brides' experience, <27 tables won't have pillars blocking. so the antica ballroom is still a gd choice...

hi renne, yes, contacted furama riverfront already... so considering between a few... been busy lately no time to read reviews, etc... haiz...
 
My fren had her wedding at Furama riverfront like 2yrs ago ... the ball is nice n big ... no pillars .. but the food .... erm ..... erm .... let's juz say that tung lok's is WAY better !!

hello stera, my menu is open. but am gg to take the eternal package, cos we like the menu better. plus got waiver of 2 cartons of wine plus free flow beer if we take eternal or forever package...
 
hi Stera and Pringirl(Karen), i took the eternal as well but did not manage to get any waiver on wine corkage as Eric say got 1 complimentary table.I signed up during the last wedding show at Noble house.
I feel this time more bargain at this upcoming wedding show.But is a little 2 late for me as my wedding date might be gone by then =)

Went to Furama City Centre wedding show last year... hmmm... ballroom was big... but... food... was so so only... personally, I think Club Chinois's food is better...

hi Renne, securing ur preferred wedding date is most impt! moreover, CC's wine is at $22+ which isn't too expensive. who knows, i might just buy all the wine from them... convenient mah... hehe

hi all, just confirmed and paid the deposit for my wedding in Jan 2010 ... After calculations, felt that the perks bargained is better than the wedding show.
 
Hi renne, I got waiver for wine corkage but did not get any other perks like the complimentary table.
I asked about the perks for the upcoming wedding show but it seems that these will only be given if I sign up at the wedding show itself.
Don't want to take any chances so I won't be waiting till the wedding show to pay the deposit.
Better to confirm the date now.

We actually wanted 21 Nov but 28th is more auspicious for us.
I was praying to get 28 cos there was a tentative booking before us. Quite 'heng'.

Would appreciate if you could share with me any pics on the ballroom set up.. my wedding is in Dec but we have not discuss anything with eric yet. how well before the actual dinner should we go for the food tasting and confirming of menu, etc?

Hi Bling, I think you would need to go for food tasting at least 1-2 months prior AD and inform them so that they have time to order supplies and make any changes to the menu.

anyone leave the projectors and screens at both side of the stage instead of on the stage throughout the dinner? I'm thinking of doing that to reduce movement on stage. any advice?

Hi to the brides who have actually had their wedding at Antica Ballroom. Can I find out the length in time to march in from the entrance to the stage? Still trying to look around for a suitable march-in song and wanna know roughly the length of time. Any advice?
