Master Tong,

Thank you so much for your reply.
If we base on Bazi will be more accurate?
If the date selected base on Bazi will it be a bad date for tong shu and we got to change the date again?

Pls advice.

Master Tong,

I understand that if our wedding day is clash with sibling or friends animal sign then we will not have good relationship.

But if the animal sign clashes is the bride animal sign, what kind of bad things will happen?

Will it be possible that the bazi can overwrite this day if this day happens to fit bride and groom bazi?

Thanks!

Hi isabelle82,

It clashes to grooms's parents, which is Snake. If it clashes, it will affect the relationship between your and the groom's parents. Hence after marriage, the relationship may turn sour or not good.

17th Dec is not an ideal date for wedding.

Hope this helps.

Hi Janice Chan,

This date clashes to Ox. If none of your are born in yr of the Ox, then this date don't clash to anyone. However, if you are looking at only general tong shu good dates, will have to wait for the tong shu to be out in July/Aug before i can let you know if it is a good tong shu date

Hope this helps

Hi Alice Choo,

Here are some good weekends date according to tong shu (note that these dates are general dates only. Both your Bazi are not taken into cosnideration yet and these dates can still turn out to be a bad day if the bazi and date is not compatible):

03/07, 12/09, 18/09, 14/11, 18/12, 01/01

Hope this helps

Hi confusedbride2b,

ROM - June 10, 2011 (don't clash anyone)
- June 11, 2011 (bad day for wedding)
Dinner - June 19, 2011 (not a good day for wedding)
- June 25, 2011 (Clash Snake)
- June 26, 2011 (Bad day for wedding)

Hence only June 10, 2011 does not clash to anyone. But it is not a general tong shu good date yet as the tong shu won't be out till probably July/Aug period.

Hope this helps

Hi Crystal Tan,

The new bed must be left untouched since the first day it is delivered to your new home, not after An Chuang. The An Chuang is just to align the bed. After An Chuang, it must also be left untouched till the wedding day.

So basically, for the new bed, you cannot sleep on it at all until the wedding day.

Can you post your details again?

Hi Summer,

15th may is not a good date for wedding
12th june don't clash to anyone (clash Dragon).

However, I cannot advise if this will turn out to be a general good tong shu date or not till it is out. Right now, the only way and correct method to do it will be using Bazi to calculate. This ensures the date is specifically good for both of you only. Tong Shu good date is for mass consumption, and a good date can still turn out to be bad if the date and bazi is not compatible.

Hi joanne neo,

Yes Bazi is not just more accurate, it is the correct method. Tong Shu is for mass consumption only. Bazi will override the Tong Shu good dates,so there is no need to check the tong shu when it is out. All dates in the tong shu (eg start of reno, move in, start business etc) are very general only and most of the time if you use those dates for those activities, it will be wrong.

Hi Zenn,

If the date clashes with the bride or groom, then it will bring about marriage problems to the couple after marriage. Hence it is impt to ensure the date and the couple don't clash. The severity of the clash will depends on both your Bazi. If the couple's bazi don't have a good marriage, this will aggravate it.

Bazi cannot override this. We just have to avoid. And at most choose a good timing for ROM that day, which help little bit (better than nothing!)

Hope this helps.

Hi lovers0206,

Only 27 March 2011 don't clash to anyone and is not a bad day for wedding. However, will have to wait for tong shu to be out to see if it is a general good date for wedding.

This date is near to Qing Ming on 5th April, hence you may wan to consult your parents first if they are ok with this date.

Hi fulltime,

11 Dec 2010 & 12 Dec 2010 are not good dates for wedding.
15 Jan 2011 will clash to Rat, hence cannot be used.

Master, I also heard that in the entire Lunar Month of October 2010, it is not suitable for marriage due to some "CHONG" in the tiger year? Is this true?

>>> No, whoever you heard from get the month wrong. For 2010, it is from 7th Aug - 7th Sep (which just nice overlaps with 7th lunar month). This is the Sui Po, which means the Month clash with the Year. This is not a good period for wedding purpose.

Hope this helps

Hi lovers0206,

To be frank, when the tong shu is out, it is too late, esp if you are going to book 2011 weekends banquet. From experience over the past years, most likely you will only be left with weekends lunch and weekdays. Weekends will be a real challenge to book once the tong shu is out. Not that it is impossible, but you have to be real lucky, esp if you are going for popular hotels

Hi KS,

Normally when a family member pass away, you must get married within 100 days or after 1 year. Some practice 3 years, depending on your beliefs. Generally 1 year is sufficient as this is ia mark of respect for the deceased.

Hope this helps.

Or can I hold my wedding ROM on a gd date? Then dinner still stays at 8 Jan 2011? Will that cause any clashes? What is a gd date for us then? Preferably in dec2010 or Jan 2011, before the dinner?

Hi isabelle82,

If you want to a good tong shu auspicious date weekend banquet in hotel, it is near impossible to get any now for 2010. You might have to consider weekend lunch or weekdays.

For Dec/Jan period, there are the only good weekends that don't clash:

- 18/12, 26/12, 15/01, 30/1

Normally we won't advise you to hold your dinner on a date that clashes as well. If really no choice, you can ROM and Customary on a good date and banquet on a normal day. This is worse come to worse scenario. Otherwise, if you want the dates to be good, you really might have to consider weekday or weekend lunch or consider restaurants (instead of hotels) or hotels that are not so popular type.

Hope this helps

Hi Shirleen,

This date clash to Ox. If none of your family members are born in ox year, then this date is a 'potential' good date only. The tong shu is not out yet hence if you are only looking at general good dates, i can only advise you after Jul/Aug period when the tong shu is out.
