Hi Rh,

This day is not an ideal day for wedding. If you can, choose a better day.

You are born in yr of the Dog, not Pig. And siblings data are not required.

Hope this helps

Hi lovers0206,

Whether if you use Bazi method or Tong Shu method, it is the same. 2010 is not a good year for you to get married in. Bazi cannot override this, neither is a Tong Shu. Hence i will advise you to do it in 2011 if possible.

Hi summerrain,

For ROM, you can sign the ROM docs anytimes 1100hrs - 1259hrs. So noon is ok.

For AD, 4th Dec 09 is not a good day for wedding, not even in terms of Tong Shu method.

For the timing, you just need the 0700hrs - 0859hrs. The groom will step into the bride's house at 7am, fetch the bride to the groom's home and complete tea ceremony with his parent's by 8.59am. After which, going back to the bride's family for tea ceremony is not within ther timing. There is no need a timing for that.

Actually for this day, the 9am - 10.59am is a good timing. It is better than the 7am - 8.59am timing. I don't know which Tong Shu you use but apparently the one you use is a "simplified" version as only such version will gives interpretation of "Xiong" or "Ji" for timings. The actual Tong Shu does not gives the interpretation and most layman will go blur over how to read the timings in a Tong Shu as it consist of all Chinese characters with no interpretation.

Hope this helps

Hi Master Tong, thanks for the advice,
How about 6 Nov 2010? Would it be a good day?
Was just wondering would it be more accurate should we provide the birth time as well according to the chinese customs or it makes no difference even the day is a bad day for the couple?

Groom: Dog
Groom's Mum:Snake
Groom's dad: passed away

Bride: Dog
Dad: Mouse
Mum: Goat

Thanks for the advice! =)

Hi Celine Tan,

Here are the analysis for 2010 dates:

June 5 - Clash to Dragon. Cannot use
June 12 - Not a good day for wedding
June 19 - Very bad day for wedding. Clash to Horse as well.
June 26 - Clash to Ox. Cannot use

Hence all these dates are not ideal. Hope this helps

Hi Siting,

18th Sept 2010 - Does not clash to anyone
2nd Oct 2010 - Does not clash to anyone.

Hence these dates could be used if the date is compatible with both your Bazi. This is just the first layer of filtering that the dates don't clash.

Hope this helps

Hi BerriesBerries,

I will not be able to provide 2010 general auspicious Tong Shu dates now as the Tong Shu is not out yet. If you have any date in mind, i can help you to filter it to see if it clashes to anyone or if it is a definite no-no date for wedding.

Hope this helps.

Here are the analysis:

dates are 2010:
10th jul - Clash to Rabbit. Cannot use.
17th jul - Does not clash to anyone.
18th sep - Clash to Ox. Cannot use
25th sep - Does not clash to anyone
2nd oct - Clash to Rabbit. Cannot use

Hence only those dates that does not clash may be used only if the date is compatible with the bazi. This is just the first layer of filtering and does not guarantee a good date yet

Hi bomohpang,

This applies for both BEFORE and AFTER your wedding, which means 3 mths before and after your own wedding. Hence she cannot attend your wedding coz it is within 3 months.

Hope this helps

Hi yuki_21,

Can you re-post your details again? Coz with the increasing post, it is hard for me to search everyone details in archived threads. Thanks.

Yes 2010 restuaurants are ver packed now. I already started to select for 2010 dates last yr this time, so you can imagine

And now, people are going for 2011 dates already, so it is perfectly normal

Hi zaex,

Q1 of 2011 is ok. But which mth is the best, I will have to look at both your Bazi to determine that. Zodiac sign alone is insufficient

Hi RH,

Nov 6 is a very bad date for wedding. Avoid.

For some days, if it is bad, even with time of birth (that is according to Bazi) cannot override this. But for some days, it can be overwritten with Bazi (eg a Tong Shu day that states inauspicious for wedding but the nature of the day itself is not bad - this day still can be good for you if the date and Bazi is compatible).

Hope this helps.

Hi Wong,

Rooster clashes with Rabbit, which is yr 2011. Avoid 2011 for marriage. If you spouse is born in Monkey yr, avoid 2010 as well.

Hi Lakl,

As much as i want to help you in the area of general good dates, the Tong Shu is not out yet, so i will not know or be able to select general Tong Shu auspicious date for wedding for 2010 yet. Right now, the only way and also the right and accurate way of doing it will be using Bazi to select dates. FYI, a date reflected auspicious in the Tong Shu may still be bad for both of you if the date chosen is not compatible wtih both your Bazi.

As for Bazi wedding dates selection, it is part of my consultation service to my clients, hence i can't provide it here free in the forum or it will be unfair to my clients who paid for my service. Hope you understand.

If you have any particular date in mind, just post it here. I can advise you if it is a bad day as there are some days that are definitely bad and cannot be used for marriage; and some days that will clash to either of you or your parents, so cannot be used as well.

Hi berriesberries,

Here are the analysis for your dates:

5 Jun 2010 - Does not clash to anyone
17 Jun 2010 - Does not clash to anyone
24 Jun 2010 - Not a good day for wedding
25 Nov 2010 - Does not clash to anyone
28 Nov 2010 - Not a good day for wedding

For those dates that does not clash, they can be used if the date is compatible with the Bazi. this does not guarantee a good date yet as this is only the first layer of filtering. Hope this helps

Yes 2010 will definitely be a better year for both of you than in 2011. 2010 Tiger yr does not clash to any of you.

Hi Master Tong,

We intend to do the move in ritual at our new house on 7 Aug. Is it a good date for move in?
Can you also advise on a good time?

Thanks

Hi Master Tong,

Thank you for your advice.
That mean my spouse and me can have Chinese customary in the year of tiger (2010) rite. Any good date for chinese customary.

If we really wish to put the ROM date on 20 Sep 2009 anything to cure or avoid. Please advice.

Hi Master Tong,
Thank you for your advice on our ROM and AD timing.
Now we are quite confused over the auspicious timings of our AD on 4 Dec 09. Seem like there are a few versions of Tong Shu and all along we thought 'ji' = good and 'xiong' means inauspicious.

Can you advise out of these 3 timings for 4 Dec 09, which one would be the best? and also, would it be strange if we complete the whole ceremony in 2 'shi chen', as in groom step in bride's hse between 0700-0859, go for some outdoor photoshoot, and bride steps into groom's hse and complete tea ceremony between 1100-1300?

Thank you so much for your kind advice.

Hi Master Tong,

My fiancee and I are planning to get married in 2010 and have yet picked a date. Can you advise us a good date for ROM and customary wedding based on the below information:

1) Groom : 1974
Groom's Mom and Dad: 1943

2) Bride: 1983
Bride's Mom: 1958
Bridge's Dad: 1947

We plan to have the customary 1 week after our ROM and preferbly between the July 2010 - Dec 2010. Thank you in advance.

Hi Rh,

Yes it is not easy, and not to mention this is only the first layer of filtering. If you calculate by Bazi, it is even more stricter, which is why a truly good date is often less than one that is very generic from the tong shu.

Here are the analysis of your dates:

7 Nov 2010 - Does not clash to anyone
13 Nov 2010 - Does not clash to anyone
14 Nov 2010 - Clash to Dog. Cannot use
21 Nov 2010 - Clash to Snake. Cannot use
27 Nov 2010 - Very bad day for wedding.
28 Nov 2010 - Clash to Rat. Cannot use.

Hence only those dates that don't clash are 'potentially' good dates. These dates are not guaranteed good yet as this is just the first layer of filtering.

Hope this helps.

Hi tearsofjoy,

For your 2 dates, both these dates are not good dates for wedding purpose. I will recommend you choose other better dates.
