my case: spouse has mental illness, been under mental torture and abuse for three years alr. want to divorce, but divorce needs consent of both parties and spouse refuse to let me move out for separation. i want to get personal protection order, but as all my documents and money are kept by spouse i cannot. she wont even let me out of house or her sight. want to talk to lawyer for help on representation if i do manage to ask someone else to help me file ppo.

any advice is appreciated, pm me if you're willing to help. i'm really desperate, plus three children all agree.

Are you sure it is so serious that she don't let you out of the house? It's a criminal offence to confine you. You can report to the police about it.
