Hi all,
I read that it is forbidden to sleep or touch the bed between the period of 'an chuan' and date of customary wedding. Can we sleep on the bed before the 'an chuan' then?
My hubby and I will be moving into our new home before the customary wedding. So we were thinking if we can sleep on the bed already.

Hi,
I finded this wedsite got some infos that I can used. Asked the Fengsui Master to count the wedding date last year, serviec not bad.

still need to do AC. AC is most important for the wedding night. Just one night can already. Your parents and ILs will advise you on what to do. Usually the bed side lamps will be switched on from the morning of customary wedding till the morning after the customary wedding night.
In our case, the bed is also at the corner. Both lamps were placed together on the side table. We only had 1 side table.
My ILs did the AC for us. Before the wedding, my MIL told me she studied a book and would do it according to the book. I also got pregnant right after wedding.

The AC photo is quite simple actually. Pink bed sheets, red silk quilt, red tray with longan, lily buds, red dates and lotus seads. At the 4 corners of the bed, were 4 red packets. On the side table, a pair of lamps. My mom gave us a red packet with a mixture of grains and beans. She told me to place this on the red tray after my IL placed it on the bed.

hmmm~ my MIL is very traditional and in charge of GDL stuff etc, but she say can skip the AC cos i'm moving into his place and his existing queensize bed been using for 2+ years only... if AC have to buy new mattress etc...

Hmmm I got my wedding report from my geomancer who tabulated everything for me.
I only rem some points as he mentioned ALOT and I'll just get my aunt to check with him when the date is nearer.
1) Someone was asking about what is a yan ji earlier. As told by my geomancer, it is small round pieces of lead pieces that resembles half the size of a 1 cent coin. That is needed during an chuang as Yan, means yuan in hokkien so that the daughter in law will have good relationship with your family. In tradition, the daughter in law also do place some yan ji in her shoes during the wedding day and some beneath the bra, as told by my aunt, for better relationships. But nowdays it's harder to get Yan Ji as alot of shops are selling aluminium to replace as lead is much more expensive and rarer now. He advised me to go to malaysia to look for it.
2) My geomancer told me that after an chuang, my wife cnt touch or sit on the bed. But for me is no problem. *Shrugz* guess I'll just sleep on the floor with her.
3) To get a blissful couple with kids to an chuang for u. I got 4 or 8 qian long coins from him also. All the qian long coins had been "kai guang" to be used during the an chuang and place at the 4 corners under the bed. On the day of Marriage, I have to paste a Qilin talisman behind the bed as my customary day clash with I dunno some white tiger thingy.
4) After an chuang, get a boy and jump on the bed. then next time will have alot of offspring.
5) Zodiac will clash also. I know that my an chuang have to follow certain timing and certain zodiac cannot be around.
Well when the date is nearer I'll just get my aunt to verify and teach me how to settle all these. I wanted her and my uncle to an chuang for me anyway. Too much details...

Seems like AC involves traditional & religious thingy. If my FH is a methodist while i am a freethinker (my parents are buddhists), do i do this AC? Can someone be kind enuff to send me the list too? Thanks!

heard from my friend tat no one is supposed to sit on the bed other than the couple. Tat's after AC. During AC we need to find a loving couple to shift the bed in place and thereafter a virgin boy to jump/roll on the bed. Also after 安床, the groom can't sleep on it until the wedding day.

I finally geting married this year and since last year I have many help form this Master Rayden Sim who is very helpful and profeesional.
Before I go to stay in thailand next monht and get married in chinese 8 month. I want thnak him alot for help me in my wedding date selection, An Chuang and many feng shoi help. Reoceomend to people here who getting married and want to look for good feng shoi master to see house.

I am getting more confused here.
My AD is in Dec, but we thought of AC in Sep since it is the only date that is gd for us.
Btw, we are moving into new home on the day too.
My MIL told me that once AC is done, we cannot enter the room AT ALL.
My mum says after AC, my hubby has to sleep on it already.
So what is AC actually? I know usually it is done days before AC and then switch on the lamp till AD. But mine is 3 mths away..can someone..pls enlighten me?
