I got my AD shoes, roughly wat u have described at jwest. That time they having 50% off so i only got mine for less than 50 bucks. My PS/ROM shoes bot recently also from there but i paid usual price.

I noe a MTM factory from forum call 'seven'. Maybe too short notice MTM is quite impossible. Maybe u still can call them up to enquire - 67434438. I din went there to see b4 though ...

BTW, have u tried paragon metro?? I went there last week and that place is crazy wif shoes!!

chomecc, i didn't pick my ring tho i did "cap" FH's budget cos we were saving for the house and wedding. kind of regret cos i actually asked for a smaller diamond than i actually liked! told him tt 0.70+ carat would do when my childhood dream was actually to have a 1-carat diamond! silly right? cos i tot we had to save money cos i was not earning money and tt any difference in size would not be noticeable. in fact, i've gone many times with FH to compare my ring with other larger ones in shops *sheepish look* but realised tt it made him feel so bad so i've stopped

ah well, as FH says, i can wish for a bigger rock but not a better guy! very blessed to have FH so cannot complain. i absolutely love diamonds and sparkly objects

Summer, what is ur budget? For small weddings, i tot Four Seasons or Straits Room in Fullerton would be nice if budget is not an issue...

frais, maybe he really will propose soon! if FH is very "dense" maybe u must hint lah! ;)

Hazel: I know. Totally unethical of them. Initially I also tried to be more optimistic seeing how we (mr lipstar and I) have made an irrevocable decision cos paid substantial $$ oredi. But with more interactions with the BS, it is getting difficult to not feel fed up with their lackadaisical, run-of-the-mill, production-factory style service.

Should be 9am. Dunno who my photog is, dunno when I can talk to him, discuss the kind of photography style we want. Now, I really got no more expectations left whatsoever.

Hey Janet, 45 tables is quite a lot... how about looking at other places instead of hotels? Do you have to have a hotel? If not, you can consider places like Botanic Gardens where you can have a tentage. If done properly, it can be extremely romantic. Or the zoo? I know it might sound yucky but a friend of mine had it there and it was extremely romantic! Or how about chijmes? And restaurants like Tung Lok? You can definitely find something within your $700+ budget if you're willing to consider non-hotel venues. Hope this helps. If must have hotels, how about Orchard Hotel? Crown Prince? Not too sure which others have not been taken but your 45 tables is quite a lot of tables.

I heard venus JB not bad.... They have what they called classical or signature gown.....However it seems to be OTR not sure whether they have MTM. They are located very near sg. Actually it would be better that u can attend their bridal fair if u really keen but not sure when is the next one. If u really keen to have it in JB i can hhelp u ask my colleague but i have to wait till i return to office then can ask for u..Pai sei.

Hi Janet other wise i can recommend u another place for the price of 700 u can even have abalone for your menu..keke u can go to this website www.blissgarden.com.sg Not sure the venue is a problem to u becos i recommend the expo one called blissgarden...Cos all my frenz comment that the ballroom look like the ballroom in hotel... U can visit them and have a look. but call them to see whether its has been taken cos this is a very hot date.

I think with the number of tables u need and the budget, think is difficult to find a hotel now..cosi also went thru weeks of seraching n most hotels r fully booked. I am also hving 40 and above tables. Last night just confirmed mine with Marina mandarin.Think maybe u'll like to try some restaurants like DragonGAte at World trade. The ballroom is pillarless and can take up to 60 tables. Or u can try having your dinner at SAM. My friend had hers there. Quite nice. But not sure how many tables it can accomodate. I know Grand Copthorne is avail in dec cos i just let go my tentative booking this morning. but price a bit steep. Dun stressyourself. i'll let u know if i come across any that meets ur req.. or another solution is to have two separate dinners for relatives and friends..maybe easier to get a place..take care

Oh ya, I didn't tell you girls hor. During my previous meeting (when I tried on the shell MTM gowns) with the BS designer to discuss the detailed embroidery to be sewn onto the gowns, she only showed me a grand total of two different designs.

And they also only had just two jacket designs for the groom to choose. The groom is supposed to choose 2 jackets by the way. So much of a choice eh?

For me, me and hubby also choose our 2 wedding bands together. Actually we have 2,nearing our ROM, i realise our wedding band not really nice and i insisted to change. So we have 1 for daily usage and the other one for function use..funny right??
I should be joing u gals for the 12th Dec outing and i will bring my ROM pics..hope u all dont find outdated cos tat was taken 2 years back...hee

wat time is your reception? i was told that after 3pm should be fine.. then you can rent a few mist fans? or use the glasshall for your reception? actually its ok lar, coz dun think pple will tresspass your wedding... kekek.. by the way, SAM only holds one wedding a day.. so in case you worried abt confusion for your guests.. thats not an issue.. i am still thinking if i want to rent the glass hall for lunch reception..

then for divine EG, i think it depends on wat you want leh.. saw some divine EG.. i find those a bit ugly.. but i have also seen fantastic ones.. so diff to say..

i am using tucky's.. but i sign up with him separately.. not with divine package.. also using tucky's for AD coz i love his journal album.. keke</font>
