St. Regis Singapore


to my knowledge, there are only 2 coordinators. 1 is on maternity leave now so mine is handed over to the remaining person, which Im guessing is yours. Why are you not v pleased with her?
 
hello ladies, i'm shopping for hotel banquets now and i really like St Regis's ballroom! i have put in an enquiry on their wedding packages, but was wondering if anyone has that information for 2017 wedding? :)
 
i rem my coordinator saying the charge will go by per headcount, instead of tables, since it is individual plating. (hence joking that we can even have 1 pax at 1 table if we want, since the cost will still be 1 pax cost).

is it really ok if i place less than 10 pax at every table (assuming there are enough space for the tables required)? eg.
8 pax for 30 tables
10 pax for 1 table
hence total 250 pax, 31 tables. i'll be charged only for total cost of the 250 pax right?

i remember coordinator also mentioning that they wont pass remaining food to other tables. so what do they do with the leftover 2 pax portion for each of the 30 tables? :/

Haha it's not so simple. You still need a min of 380 pax (the min is 38 tables). You can put 1 pax per table but you'll still need 380 tables then. I've also asked them this before :)

min. is 25 tables :) anyway my contract is for 250 pax.. means I can do the above right? but afraid that food may be wasted if we don't fill the tables properly..
 
Sorry I can't recall if i've asked this before, what is the policy on alcohol? Waiver of corkage?

have to negotiate, depending on the contracted no. of pax..
during one of the recent wedding shows, they offered corkage waiver for 12 bottles (or 36?) as one of the perks.
