anywhere anyone manage to fight for a extra night stay ? heehee I try and bargain for extra night my coor say nvr try is hard to get.

What's the name of the new theme? Is it new for 2008? or 2007? Thanks thanks. My AD is next yr march 08. cos i heard from eileen there are only 2 themes now butthere will be more themes next yr.
 
For the new theme, seems that the stage looks rather weird without a backdrop.. Any comments?My AD is on 10th Nov, preparing for the invitation right now!
 
Yeah.. i find it weird to stick the flowers at the doors.. Prefer the current theme x10..

KrisTine, did you engage the printing coy recommended by HR to print the invitation cards?
 
I also refer the previous theme , feel some funny not so classic like just put a bunch of rose there .

Only the VIP seat is nice

Yep, i engaged the hotel's printer, the price is reasonable after checking around.

I realized that there is actually a golden stand holding the flowers from the photos but i still prefer if they would use something to cover the windows.

i personally find that it is not nice leh. hope they will change and have more themes in 2008.
 
me also feel is Not nice , like putting a decor for the purpose only never use heart to decor a place . I hate the stages part still prefer the previous theme , Gals maybe you can feedback to your own coor for advise . the center pcs is abit werid leh . I abit dissappoint

I will do it with my coor , many ppl feedback I think they will think of better one .
 
I will email sharon to ask her if there will be anymore new themes.. Will also feedback my comments on the new theme that Bean has posted.
 
Hi gals,

Sharon has replied my email. There are two new themes for wedding banquets in Year 2008 - Flaming Red & Sliver theme.

She also mentioned that you can let your coordinator know which part of the deco you dun like and she will try to get the florist to accommodate to your request.
 
Hi gals, I had spoke to Eileen and she will feedback to the management.... Hopefully they can change to a better themes.. let's keep out fingers cross....

There is a other theme but currently no one using it so only have this Flaming red theme photo .
 
At least it looks more decent now with the backdrop...

I think more people would prefer the Flaming theme to the silver theme anytime..
 
Hi, can i check with you the layout of the ballroom? From the pictures taken, I noticed that there are 2 tables on both sides of the stage. Won't it obstruct their view of the stage area?
 
Wendy the ballroom is "T" shape

Mean:right and left side (near the stage table around 2-3table) will be block to see the montage at the end of the ballroom .

There is a table in between will be block by a pilliar

HR either deal with Eileen is the manager and sharon is the executive

My is sharon she good, eileen so far never see any bad comment about her .

The theme is few post above you can view it as I just get it from HR (new theme of end of Year 2007 and year 2008)

Oic.. the stage isnt nice?? I think i have to see the actual setting in order to decide. By the way, when is your AD?

Yes, these are the 2 new themes.

I chose chocolates and coaster =)
Nw preparing brain-cracking table arrangements.

So excited! I guess i will be having sleepless nights..
 
Yes, I think the coaster is nice too. I think I will choose the coaster if it is still available next yr cos my AD is march 08. They told me some favours will not be available next yr and they will come up with new ones.

Muffin: my AD will be also in March08. As for my coordinator, she's Eileen and indeed she's very firm..

Now thinking of the theme.. anyone has any ideas to share?
