I sent Jamie an email jus now to confirm it. My hubby says the same price ONLY if the 10 muslim is in one table. So if individual seatings, is price of one Chinese table + 6 muslims (top up of $70 each) = over 1k plus liao... and another table is table of one Chinese table + 4 MUSLIMS (x $70 each) = near to 1K...

Sigh.... BIG BIG HEADACHE!!!

I also have muslim friends and worst... my hubby's bosses only eat western food. So we have to cater individually. Hai... told my hubby that his boss better each give us a $1k ang bao for dinner to compensate us for all the trouble which we had gone thru. Haha!!!

We opted for the Mango with Pomelo, cos we wanted something different, and feedback was good too, our guests said veri refreshing...after the 7 courses

Well when we had our food tasting then, the pulp of the pomelo were so "dry", not freshy,n the "cream" were to milky in taste n mango not enuff, so we told Chris, he say cos it is not the pomelo's season yet, he will give us more mango and the cream will impprove, he delivered what he said and my guests were quite happy with the dessert.

Hey Stef, Maybe i will send you during weekend as the insert is with my HB. The pic is small in the insert. If you see any other insert, pic inside is abt the same size as others. Just that different pic only.

Regarding abt the dessert, i wanna try pomelo also but scared on that AD not nice lei. I went to my fren wedding and realise not many ppl eat pomelo dessert maybe due to abit sour. End up almost every table have half a bowl left. So i also worried.

Any want tried their Yam ring? Heard is good too.
Any advise on the $698 or $728 package as i am thinking to get which one.

When I ask my coordinator who are the mediacorp artists that are getting married, she laughed and asked me I really dunno meh... it's in the news and everywhere. Make me feel so stupid like that. Then I told her maybe they forgotten to place an annoucement in the Business Times (although I don't read Business Times).

Heard they have a reception in the evening too. More worried that the coordinator might be more focused on them.

Oh u got the 3 pc band. Was thinking of tat initially, but heard them sung at my gal pal's wedding (2 pc band). Not bad oso. So hubby settled on that. Though price may b a bit steep la, but mine is a wkday dinner, so tht can 'compensate' my guests in a way. So they wun hurry to go off even b4 the dessert is served.

Hi gals, I tasted the pomelo & mango desert at my frd's wedding. Not bad la, sweet & sour. Not bad actually. But for my menu, I chose yam paste dessert instead. Went for food tasting in Aug, so the menu settled aldy.
