For the Rice/ Noodles Segment: which one did you all choose? Coz Rice feels so heavy at the end of the dinner, so is the Braised Ee-fu noodle nicer or the Wok-fried Noodle better?

-Is Pomfret or Garoupa better?

-Anyone tried the Poached Live Prawns before?

I think either ee-fu noodles or fried noodles is a better choice than rice. I chose fried noodles. Taste ok.

The pomfret is good, in terms of appearance and taste. Not sure about the live prawns but I think it's difficult to eat cos must take out the shell on your own. The wasabi prawns are superb. I love them.

Kuaile, My wedding was on 22 May, at the indoor ballroom. Keke.. Everybody had good comments on the food and the service. Thumbs up to Legends! The banquet coordinators were also very efficent, they cued us on when to march in, how to stand, calmed us down, and when to go and get changed for 2nd march in.

We should be the first 2 couples to be using the new florist... and in fact, the floral decors were not finalised till 2 days before the wedding. We had to go down personally to the florist to finalise the designs. So... it was pretty stressful, but the end result was very nice! We had pink and white flower theme, and the ballroom looked very elegant.

Just came back from the Conrad room stay a few hours ago.. the complimentary breakfast there was good also!

no luh... they only have 2 diff deco.. one is romantic (red) the other is pure (white) i think... i cnt rem if i'm right

Kuaile, there should be more than 2 decors. We were shown 2 backdrops designs for outdoors, and 3 for indoors.

Actually the backdrops that the coordinators sending to couples for previews now are still not finalised.. can still "fight" for it.. especially for those whose weddings are nearing..

J&amp;J, I am not sure whether the colour theme can be customised.. for our case, Legends gave us 4 rose colours to choose from, ie. white, red, pink and white. We chose pink and champange roses, and requested the florist to give us a pink and white backdrop. So our color theme became pink and white loh.

Hope that you would be able to get whatever that you are trying to request for. I think Legends is pretty flexible in customing to our requests.

Dac, they might have more flowers / colors.. try asking. We checked into conrad the following day after AD. It is not compulsory to check in immediately after banquet. Just got to let your coordinator know 1 or 2 wks before the banquet.

Hb and I both have some work related constraints about taking leaves.. haha.. so bobian, got to wait loh. I am back to office today.

My location will be Marquee and the only concern is the heat. My planner, claimed it should be alright towards the end of the year.

I was actually there last Friday to check out the setup for both ballroom and marquee for actual wedding dinner the night itself. I am not too sure how effective were the coolers as I still can feel the warmth when walking inside the marquee. Probably I was there a bit too early and the sun has yet to set.

But it was very beautiful when the light comes on.

Just out of curiosity, may I ask everyone here why do you choose The Legends for your wedding venue?

For me, I chose Marquee is because I am looking for something more unique (outdoor) than the usual ballroom or restaurant. I was initially looking at Rasa Sentosa, doing beach side solemnization + dinner. But having 2nd tot cos of the location.

Just came back from Legends. There's another option for the ballroom which they are going to showcase during the wedding show on Sat. Looks really classy from the pictures I was shown. Will confirm when I see it on Sat. Anyone going down to the wedding show?

dac, I'm using both the marquee and ballroom. Marquee for solemnization and ballroom for banquet.

For update purpose, i am holding my wedding at the marquee. My BS is French Bridal.

Yugal, hmm... actually i like oriental. however, there only can hold about 35 tables which is quite a small number. i needed more than that. my htb suggested the legends which can hold bigger number of tables and is unique(outdoor with marquee) =)
