Designer is getting 30 percent commission!!!

Is it really true? WTH? That easy money
I heard from a close friend that when your ID bring you to any shop for your house renovation, be it furniture, lighting or sanitary ware, they actually earn commission from there. I do heard about it last time when i renovating my house and their commission is 15-25percent of your buying back then. But recently it like increased liao to 30percent. My goodness, is this how they do businesses???

It may be true, but I don't think it is 30 Percent. o.o It should be just partnership, like the furniture store introducing the designer firm to their customers, and like wise.
