Hi all brothers & sisters,

Just curious a bit. ive been to one wedding dinner, usually the traditional chinese wedding dinner are like 2 "red table" at the front, the groom and the bride. but what i saw is the grooms table ok as usual the bride sit together with them, but the bride's red table, i can't find the bride's mother father and siblings, but consist of all the bride's relatives, later then i found out the bride's family actually seating somewhere at the normal table same as me. any reason behind it? maybe pandang or what explanation?

Usually the most senior sit at the red table. So if the bride's grandparents, senior relatives are still around, it will make more sense for them to sit at the red table. Obviously it's still up to the arrangement of each family. So maybe you can ask the bride? Haha

Hi phirahh, thanks and appreciate your reply! haha dont dare ask, as this is a colleague wedding, not same department, not very close. she invited the whole office.. so yea.. i just feel weird, bcos my case my family is small too so my red table are my mom father and some senior relatives, i thought the brides parent should at least be on the red table... so yup thanks for your time!
