Blocked nose for 3 months.. Please help !!

Hi all,

My wife had been suffering from a blocked leftside of her nose for 3 months and its been causing her distress in breathing and sleeping. We have consulted a specialist in TTSH, who did a scope and gave some antibiotics for inflamation. Also, he remarked that the inside of the nose is raw from all the sneezing and that is the result of the bleeding. SOmehow, i don't quite trust him and would like to ask if anybody ever experienced such serious blocked nose? Any specialist to recommend? it had never happened this serious and had always been the typical flu that doesn't last more than 3 days. Please advise....

I think you should trust the specialist at ttsh. Airway inflammation should be properly treated. Take the antis and observe if the bleeding subsides.

I would recommend you to see Dr. Goh Yau Hong at YH Goh Clinic. He is my family ENT. Very attentive and very nice person also expert in his field but you should book him since his clinic always in long queue

I think there is nothing wrong to get second opinion, especially from reknown ENT.
