Acne scar treatments are relatively painless. A laser treatment to cure acne should be carried out under the supervision of qualified physicians and medical staff. In acne removal treatment, acne producing germs are killed with the use of radiations and the growth of the oil-producing glands is shrunk.

Laser resurfacing helps cure not only acne but also wrinkles, skin burns, blemishes, scars and other such conditions. To get rid of scar the damaged skin tissue is removed and collagen fiber is tightened to give desired effect.

Laser lights close the sebaceous glands thus barring the over production of sebum which leads to acne. Proper care of the skin is taken during the process with the help of cooling sprays.

One can fight acne on body parts other than face, no matter how acute it is or where it is.

Hello all BTBs & Babes, JTS: I have a friend who had pores and pigment problems before her wedding. She went to this Dr Evan Woo who is a plastic surgeon to do laser treatment. Initially I thought, plastic surgeon must be damn pricey....but apparently it was very competitive to a lot of other aesthetic clinics I checked out. Think she spent like less than $1.5k for a course of 3 or 4 sessions and she said she saw quite a lot of improvements after just the first session!! For me personally I feel safer to get treated under an experienced doctor. Thus, I am gonna make an arrangement to consult the Dr Woo asap!!

i heard of a korean aesthetic clinic that does laser facials. quite tempted, cos my pores are quite large :(

becos of upcoming wedding, i started going for deep cleansing facial and rf recently haha. deep hole in the pocket :(

I've tried PPP Laser Clinic. Not too bad.
Price also quite affordable.
I signed a package with them, each session about $15 or so.
I always go to the outlet at Plaza Sing cos it's near my work place. I just pop by during lunch and after work.
Less than 20 mins can be done.

I don't have time for other places cos usually they need to make appt and each session longer...

We now have a "Advice by the Expert" thread for you to raise all your concerns on Aesthetic Treatments to Dr Celine Leong of ASTIQUE The Aesthetic Clinic. Feel free to post your questions there!

Hi ladies, for laser, you may also like to consider Photo Acoustic Medical Laser, which uses RevLite – a piece of technology which uses a “PhotoAcoustic Technology Pulse (PTP)” system to deliver the laser energy into the skin at very narrow pulse widths. Its painless, no down-time, and good for treatment of acne, enlarged pores, pigmentation, wrinkles, fine lines, aging skin. Most importantly, it is affordable at $50-55 per session

Personally, i have acne, enlarged pores and scars. I have been visiting Face On Clinic at United Square http://www.faceonclinic.com/ , which i had a great experience. The treatment is administered by doctors, and the staff are not hard selling at all.

I have 30 sessions package which i am happy to share/ let go if u like to give it a try. I will also go down to the clinic personally with you. Due to my PCOS syndrome and major acne outbreak lately, my doc has put me back on ro-accutane as short term solution in the next 6 mths, which gives me very dry skin, so i am not able to utilize my laser package for now.

Original price is $50-55 per session, but i am willing to let go at $40-45 per session. PM me if u are interested :)
