hi herecomesthebride
if you are interested in doing laminated flooring for your house, properly i can recommand my supplier to u. I got a good deal for my EA, less than S$3500 for 4 bedrooms, 2 living rooms & balcony area. I deal with direct importer & they are the only company registered with BCA.

Overlay is actually alright provided ur existing floor tiles is level and ur floor height to ceiling is not compromised. Do not need rubber unless u very particular to little bit of sound. Unless u got extra budget to lay the rubber is definetely good. W/O rubber is 10mm, With rubber is 12-13mm for laminates.

Hi there,

I'm thinking of doing laminates for my 5 room flat. Anyone has any brands to recommend? I was thinking of wiparquet or power dekor after seeing some feedback here.

Thanks!

Hi all

Wish to share our experience with all of you. We met up with quite a few suppliers before finally deciding to choose INOVAR. It is actually direct manufacturer's warranty (in actual fact it was the supplier for SUPR*** for 10years). We are very convinced and pleased with the quality of the INO*** laminate (whose products are rated at international standards as compared to others at SG standard). As INO*** is direct manufacturer, the price is more reasonable than other brands, yet the quality is good!

We liaise with David 8328 0906, he has very in depth knowledge of his products, and his service is EXCELLANT! Though ours is a small assignment, he took it seriously and patiently explained all the details to us. Would highly recommend him!

Help!!! We had laminate flooring installed about 6 months ago in our bedroom and just today we noticed a fine black sandy grit coming off where we walk. We assume this is the aluminum oxide but now what? We notice that it is tacky where the footmarks are. We have never used anything other than water to clean it. can anyone tell us what we can do about this? thanks

Hi, is this forum still active? I'm a newbie and is looking at installing laminated flooring. Supreme quoted me $6.80 for their AC5grade of 12mm thickness. They did quote $4.50 but for 8mm thickness. Can anyone advise me if the thickness is worthwhile investing in? Tks.

Noamie - can I know which brand you install?

Hi Joan,

From what i know household use no need to use until AC5. Even shopping centres only use AC4 and is very durable already.. think the person try to upsell you ah... my house using AC3 8mm and with material and labour to lay only need $2.8 PSF. The company i use the workmanship is good and after 1 yr plus liao no problem at all!! You can contact him Gordon 91984799!
Hope this help!!
Cheers!!

I just do my laminated flooring using Supreme Flooring products to wht i know is tht laminated flooring or floor board to wt they call is supposed to be long lasting but wht i encountered was tht only three months of staying in the floor started to popped up, and also there is a cracking sound when we step on it. Now they going to change the whole of my living room. Isnt it a mess for me to shift all my things again. I'm wondering is it the quality of the said flooring or the workmanship problem. I hope they can settle this as soon as possible. Moreover the popped up can be seen with a naked eye and its like three to four rows. Now i thought of changing to parquet instead. I have to tk leave from work its really a hassle to me. I am very frustated now.
I just hope tht they will get it done fast and good coz my hari raya haji is just next mth.

I am using products from floorich. my floor pops up within 3months. when contact they mention that it is due to moisture, no warranty. need to pay to replace. if there anyway they can proof that it is due to mositure, i read in this forum that traces of mould could be a possibility but i did not find any and as a user of laminates for the past 8yrs i did not have this problem before.. is this their method of not wanting to provide warranty with a casual remark like "moisture" although life time warranty is always provided ? if i may, i would advise the forumers here to avoid laminates. In our hot and humid weather, how not to have moisutre and heat?

Hi,

me and hubby jus signed a package from Evorich and paid a deposit to lock the Evorich (HERF) High end resilient flooring at expo price of $6.25 psf, original price was S7.50 psf. But my mum dun like the idea of lamination flooring and really against having the idea (u know la, lao ren jia :(, haizz.... ), so decide to sell it away. If any keen buyer, pls let me know. It's definitely a good deal as the sales person demonstrate many benefits for this laminating and provide LIFE TIME WARRANTY against water/ termite/gap.
Free coordination with main ID
No hidden cost
No colour limit.
The sales person pour a pool of water on the surface and guarantee no water seeping through after sometimes. Easy clean surface with marker drawn on to flooring. Even able to clean with damp mop whereas other laminate flooring not able to.
I paid a deposit of SGD500, if not for my mum, i will already do it to my 3 bedroom plus bathroom and even kitchen.
Best price gurantee.
