I had mine just recently only. thought it would be a normal outing with my boi, so i wore something very casual.but who know knows, he proposed to me with a very beautiful hand bouquet. i was touched and was shedding tears.

My proposal happened during our short retreat on a small island in Batam. He had ask the villa owner to prepare a candlelight for 2 on the beach that night. Candlelight on the beach is always sound so romantic on movie but the fact it is so dark that you can't see what you are eating. We actually laughed about what a interesting experience and we had a nice chat with no one else there. Shortly after dessert was served, there was firework appeared in the sky. The next thing that I knew was he was on one knee with a ring. He knows that I like to see firework, so he prepared 1 that is exclusively for me.
Something funny happened in the process, I saw some people from far carried something and walk into the forest behind the beach, I asked my HTB if he saw them and the reply was no. That almost scared the hell out of me.

And the box has a video of him dancing which he created himself and the final part showed: "Will you marry me?" I burst into tears immediately and all my friends who were with me were like: OH MY GOD!

My proposal was something like a MTV video. He brought me to Maldives, booked one of the water villas and prepared a candlelight dinner for the two of us. Given that Maldives doesn't have roses locally, he flew in some roses(they were really big and red)and gave them to me while a group of singers serenade me with love songs. I just thought it was a really big celebration for my birthday.
Once the singers left, he got down on one knee and sang me the song "growing old with you". Of course I said yes.

I just got proposed to last weekend during our first year anniversary staycation. It was an intimate and very cosy setting, two of us and we exchanged presents. His clues to me were "meant for someone who deserves it" and I thought the first present of balenciaga sandals were it. Until he asked me to close my eyes and told me it is coloured "yellow and white" that he said a whole chunk of what-i-wont-post-here, and the magical four words. Yes, of course to the love of my life and the ring that he painstakingly put together for the last couple of months. Cannot wait to plan the rest of our journey!
