Any Coach handbags fan here ???


it's funny...in shanghai, the shanghainese actually avoid the xiangyang market. so more tourists actually go for the fakes...

are coach fakes common ? i wonder if they really look/feel like the real thing cos i have never seen or feel one b4. i have seen so-called AAA /defective Guccis , but when u feel the material.. they just seem different. I think it's kind of silly to pay > $100 bucks for such "Guccis".
 
kekeke pei fu u! 11 tops! y do u get so many mng tops?!? is kinda common leh....im glad i not so 'fierce' in shopping as u....cos im sure with my character i will sure end up with alot of impulse buys haha....

i was underweight as a sch kid lor....now i dun tik this phase is used as frequently as b4 on me liao...kinda miss it! :P
 
i tend to choose simple ones which i can mix and match to wear to work... some tops for wearing at home or when going somewhere near my house.. i dun buy those that scream mng...
 
the cheapo fakes..I have seen them...
but the AAA coach fakes?

like the Gucci/LV fakes..the cheaper version , 1 look can tell. but the "expensive" fakes..I can only tell if I feel or scrutinize them..

yep yep..i find it deceitful if 1 carries a fake bag and try to pass it off as a real thing.
i just feel it doesn't reflect well on one's character.
 
it all boils down to a person's principle in life...cos some pple hv the mentality tat they can pay onli a fraction of the sum to acquire the 'branded' look...so wat for pay the full price?! *shake head*

how to stop buying?? I have been trying hard. Luckily got esterlla there to stop me from buying. I never venture beyond her auction, as I refused to get tempted, don't think other sellers will be that nice! That's one way lor! Anyway, she did tell me she might be taking a break soon for her wedding, so I think by then we must find another lobang.

I also saw that the 0.99 auction was reset back.Showing my SIL the wallet. I kaypoh and sms esterlla. Didn't expect such an outburst from her! Haha, someone sabo her auction! She said she complained to all those who sms her and those who regularly talk to!

She said something like this buyer email or id not working, but bid at her buy price. In the end, she could to remove all bids,then still got to offer free mail as apology to the final winning bidder.She said she's fuming. I told her could be other seller sabo her since most buyers can't be so bo liao! Told her to slimmer down! Hahah......i never knew selling on auction can be that complicated...ma chiam like real business world.All the sabo! But her damage control is also quite good!

but must tell her to continue to accumulate stocks (esp the signature design ones) , then after her wedding, year-end can sell all at 1 go. cos usually festive period (plus bonus), alot of ppl have tendency to buy buy buy!

sigh..me also tempted to buy a wristlet..

She's angry because this buyer just bid at the highest price and does not have a real email address. She told me she got this bogus buyer several times for her $0.99 auction. Didn't know yahoo selling's so complicated! Told her must be some other seller sabo her loh, those who sell the same 2 items she have on 0.99. Hahahahaha.

mongmong, i understand liao. but it's honestly quite suspicious when someone will bid at the buy-it-now price when there is an auction going on and its likely that the close price will be lower than the buy it now. was in meeting when she smsed so couldn call her.. just out of the blue got an sms from her =) so funny.
 
so it seems that someone bid at the "buy-it" price , then the auction closes automatically.

But poor esterlla can't contact this bidder cos it's a bogus bidder.

No wonder she's fuming.

if u refering to design, yes tis hobo was on sale during the dfs sale...if rem correctly there were only black, brown with white handle and white...
 
when i went to that DFS sale on sat (think the sale started thurs or fri), I don't see this bag anymore. so probably sold out very fast during the sale.

the new hobo signature bag is here in DFS. The medium one is $620. After DFS discount is $530. the sale gal says that singapore do nt carry the Large size, they only carry small and medium size

But the website only got 2 sizes so techincally there will be be aby third size right?

Got an stupid question to ask, if the coach website says 15 3/4 (L) x 12 3/4 (H) x 5 1/4 (W)
For the H (12 3/4), can you all help me to define the H. ( is it frm the base to the top of the strap or base to the top of the bag?

bel bel.. the older hobo prettier =) got braided strap.. the new hobo is a leather strap right? coach website don't always show all the sizes right? (coach experts like cecilia, lilacgal,aqua,etc pls verify??) cos my medium hobo wasn't on the website leh... but i know it exists =)

i think the H would refer to base of bag to the top of the bag only. not including the strap. i compared the measurements for my bag and the strap is excluded from the height measurement.
