What is the name of the designer for the man's suit at Amanda Lee Weddings? He is this tall guy.. For some reason I just can't seem to remember his name. :S

Hey all!

Would someone be so kind as to email the AL package pricing? I want to have a look before I make an appointment pop over. Btw, do they only do MTM or do they have OTR gowns? Thank you! My email add is [email protected]
 
Hi ene, if you are referring to Amanda Lee services, she does not have a package pricing anymore. Currently, what she offers is on ala carte which means she charges on a per item basis. If you are really keen, it will be gd for you to book an appointment and go down personally.
I met AL and I have a wonderful time in her shop trying the gowns. Amanda was not only professional, she was service orientated, beautiful and so knowledgable. She was willing to share and she offered a lot of advises on the gowns that suit my body stucture. It was my first experience to a bridal shop and thanks to AL and her dedicated staffs who made it such an amazing experience! Thumbs up!

Hi, Yes I went there to meet Miah and he is very nice but their package is like $200 more ex than Cantonment. Not sure why..... I saw an OTR at Cantonment, that's why would consider their package there. You also considering them?
 
i tot cantonment is more ex? but cantonment is not doing any package so is more ex...i didn't go to the orchard outlet but went to c amanda 2 yrs again where she still having e package. regret nv sign up wif her tt time.
 
Cantonment still has a package but by their resident designer Simone. But she doesn't seem as experienced and easy going as Miah of the Orchard Delfi one. So where did u go eventually?
 
I think if I am not wrong, her gowns at from $2.5K onwards...so minimum 2.5K for each gown but that could be the most basic one lor

so who did u go to in the end? When was your wedding?
 
Amanda still does packages. When I went down to meet up with her about 3 weeks ago, she offered a quotation and personally serviced me herself ;)

I think that's the package designed by her in-house designer, not herself. But she will attend to you and explain the package. I think so lah, from what she told me when I first visited her a few months back.

Reinn, I have decied to go with "Jawn happy ever after" cos I visited them before and found them very friendly and willing to give ideas.
 
Hmm... Well in any case, I've signed up with her and am an excited ALW bride-to-be! She sat down with me patiently to discuss the details of my gown and what kind of look I was going for. She also handpicked gowns for me to try and gave constructive comments and ideas for a look that would suit my body and my personality. I totally relished the experience. My fiance also was very impressed with the service rendered. But admittedly, her pricing a bit on the steep side so I'll only be doing gown plus photography with her and outsource my own MUAs etc...

So far we have worked out a rough sketch of my WG and I love what I see. But EG wise, like I still can't find any style that I take a particular fancy too. Like a lot are nice, but haven't seen something with the "WOW" factor? Hmm... maybe I'm too fussy. Will Amanda take offence if I reject her original design totally and make her start from scratch again? I feel quite bad being so picky. But I just want everything to be "perfect" or near perfect. :|
 
I don't think she will take offence ...After all, you are the bride and you need to be comfortable with what is designed for you. Not as if you ask her go copy some other people's design mah...haha

But I also think to a certain extent...a gown could look very plain and univiting but it could wow you once you try it on...really depends...but for a MTM, cannot take the risk of cos

anyone know how much AL charge for renting a gown?

i got a package with another BS but i like her gown design.. din sign with her cos too exp le. now i juz thought of renting a gown from her for PS or AD.

can anyone help? thanks..

Hi Dawn, I went with my friend to Amanda Lee Weddings yesterday. I think they have 2 rates - 1 by Resident Designer, another is by Amanda Lee herself. Of cos, the later is more exp and does not comes with package. I saw one package for MTM WG (keep), MTM EG (Rental) for 4480 with suit and usual package. No photography though.
You may want to check them out personally =)

maybe juz nice that the gowns from her BS attracted me the most.. heee....

but sadly, it's a bit too exp for me.. $4kish w/o PG is quite siong ah. but i would love to rent her gowns for PS or AD though =)
 
I just confirmed my MUA from ALW... wondering if anyone has their MU done by her before? Sophia. I didn't really see her works before, they confirmed for me de....
 
She is my MUA! She is the No.1 MUA at ALW.
You can have my assurance, she is GREAT!
We did not exactly discussed what to do with my hair but trust me, you can entrust yourself to her with no worries.
Needless to say about make-up with is really her forte.
At least based on my encounter with her, I do not need to worry anything.

I must agree wif you that AL is gr8. She is gifted in this area.
Most, if not all, of my guests have great comments for my WG, EG and Tea Dress. Their comments made me feel really proud that day! REALLY!
Some of my guests are still talking about my gown until today even though it's coming to a month since my AD!

Do you have photos to share? It's great to hear that you have confidence in her! Coz this thread is usually rather quiet and I can't seem to find more info on her...

You did a tea dress with them too? I reckon you have to do a top up? Roughly how much did you top up? I'm considering doing 1 since I might just drop the kua idea...

Yes I did a top up for my tea dress. But think you can't really take the price that I paid coz the time when I signed with AL, she was still offering packages. Now she goes alacarte, so very different already.

I've finally decided on my BS n am officially an ALW btb... wanna find out from you gals if you are also only wearing your own gowns for the pre-wedding PS? Are we allowed to request for additional rental of gown, and how much wld tt cost? Thanks!
