Just to share my personal view:

> Silhouette (Strength - Gown adjusted to fit you. Weakness - Same gown for AD and outdoor shoot, More expensive)
> Le Grand (Strength - Gown design, PG by CL team. Weakness - Expensive)
> Labelle (Strength - wide selection of gown, average pricing, more comprehensive package including rental of car. Weaknesses - Average gown and no trying till you have signed)
> Rico-a-mona (Strength - Friendly coordinator, average price, good selection of gowns. Weakness - PG)
> French Studio (Strength - Focus on photography, in the biz for many yrs, more affordable. Weakness - more traditional feel)

hi everyone,

i have gone to 6 BS so far and this is what my thoughts on them:

1) Bridal Zone
service wise very good, i am a very demanding person, but my coordinator, Ted, accommodates my needs and very generous as well, he even stand at the entrance waiting for us during our appointment. that is why i love their service, photography wise is superb but for gown wise, i did not get to look for more, but it is ok for me as i am sure i will get to find what i like. they even have traditional costumes like japanese, victorian, korean, chinese etc. basic full package is $3088.

2) Golden Horse Awards
Service wise is good too. I was served by Kent and May. they are very nice and no hard sell. kent is a designer and he knows what i want for my gowns and may is very friendly as well. For photoshoot, i find it so-so to me but for gown wise, they have many of them and i actually love their gowns very much, but they only have 1 traditional costume which is chinese, if i'm not wrong. full package price is flexible but for my case is $3388.

3) Precious Moment Bridal
Service wise, i feel that it is the best among other BS. i feel the warmth from them. Roland is a funny chap and he is the boss from there. No hard sell and they even spend 3hrs entertaining us, like showing us the various flowers, gowns and evening gowns, photography and raw photos as well. it feels very relaxing and nice to be there. for gown wise, they do not have much variety but their quality is good. as for photoshoot, personal view is i do not really like but then again is different people point of view. full basic package is $2388 but the details are not as much though.

4) Graceful Image
Service wise is good as well, was served by jacqueline and the lady boss. very nice and no hard sell too.she even ask me to look around other BS before deciding them. very good service. gown wise is very good as i love their design as well. they have the designs that i want. for photoshoot wise, is very nice as well. but the full package is a little steep.

5) Whitelink
i do not really like their service coz they hard sell, want me to sign on the spot, which i find abit annoying and turn off. gown wise, i am not quite sure but i know that they have alot of costumes which i find them quite attracting for photoshoots. for photography wise is good and nice too. full basic package is $3260, if i'm not wrong.

6) Selatar Broadway
i actually stumble upon this BS, coz i went to wedding fair at suntec, and the BS is this. Service wise is not that good, hard sell. photography wise quite standard, so-so for me, gown wise not quite sure, did not see much. full basic package is $ 3288 at wedding fair.

these are all the summaries of what i have experienced thru bridal shopping. hope these tips are helpful for all brides to be. cheers! =)

thanks for sharing your experience. our experience with whitelink was quite bad as well. the photographer literally took e chair and sat next to me htb to prevent him from leaving.

yup, that is their basic package, but some details in the package have been left out and the big photo frame which other BS include is consider small in PMB, they are flexible though, maybe you can try to bargain with them more things.

PMB is precious moment bridal. usually is 20 to 30 photos for 15R album. it really depends on what BS u are choosing.

i am not the precious moment bride but i roughly know the overall package price, as for the details, i do not have. why don't u go to their bridal studio and check it out? their staffs there do not do hardselling. or if you are in a hurry, wanted to know roughly what is the details on the package, maybe you can go n see the bridal zone website, they do have package details and price there. they are consider cheap as well.

PMB has only one bridal package at $2,388. my cousin and myself both signed packages with them. I think that they are the only bridal company with no website and non participation in wedding exhibition. Call them 65625486. They are nice people.

hi ladies, can try Di Gio or Rico-A-Mona if you are interested. They are from the same boss and share the same MUA and photographers. Rico is pricier than Di Gio though but their services are not bad.

actually, you can top up for the stuff you want, but after topping, i do not know whether is it consider cheap.

coz after going through so many BS, in the end, i took bridal zone, as my personal opinion is that PMB photos do not appeal to me. my main objective is to have many beautiful photos and all the soft copy in the CD and i manage to get them while negotiating with Ted! so happy about it! =)

once i get my photos, may want to show them to my children in the future, that is just my point of view. =)

i am new to this forum. currently i am doing BS shopping but there are so many pros and cons in selecting the BS and i seriously do not know which is good. my main objective is to have lots of nice and beautiful photos with all the soft copy back and good service as well. can anyone reccommend me any BS? and are there anyone that can share with me their photos and packages details and price as well?

I been to several bridal shops and some of them told me that all make money from additional pic top up. When they can promise you all return pics only either u have purchase quite lot of pics or some of them only take a token quantity bit more from your package. knowing that this customer will not be adding any more pics. Am bit puzzled.

hi Tommy_goh, I think that most of the customers will top up a few in the end. And probably their package already includes a bit of the earnings already.

Actually, a lot of their earnings come from the per additional pic top-up, which is why they give you 6 different outfits to take photograph in (more outfits = more pictures you'd want), and then tell you you need 3 different poses for one photo album page for "storyline".

hehe. yup, i did top up some pics, around 20 poses before i sign, i purposely do that before i sign up so that i can negotiate with them by bringing down the original price and adding these photos price to get many poses and all the samples soft copy return. everything is stated in the invoice. that is just my style of negotiating.
