Active JP/GL

Hi i just called Mr Koh, he recommend Mr. Phang also, just engaged him as my solemniser in July. seems like no comment on him currently. anyone have idea how is him? i wish he is ok.

Thanks for your reply, I am interested to engage him as my solemniser. But will Prof Yu meet up with you b4 the big day to brief you what are the vows etc and advise you what to so for the filing etc? I am quite a blur person so need someone to spoon-feed me.... hehehe

Sorry for the late reply. We only spoke on the phone, so I'm not quite sure whether he would want to meet up before the day. As mine is on Dec, he has just tentative put me in his schedule, just in case he will go for holiday. Somehow he said he will call me 3 mths before my AD.

Think by then, we will fill up the form and send to him for endorsement. He told me not to worry cos we can only file it 3 mths b4 the AD.

You may call him for advise. I'm sure he will help.

I think it's more sincere to give him a call to invite him to be your JP. Thereafter, you may just sms for some nitty gritty things.

Can i chk with all of you all here that if i'm solemising my ROM within the suite in ROM itself, can i also choose my own JP or not? Kindly advise. Thanks!

Hi, I find the solemniser who solemnised my wedding last month quite good. He is not one of those popular ones mentioned in this forum. He is a young gentleman who is effectively bilingual in English and Mandarin.

Hi everyone,

I have just engaged rof Yu for my ROM on Feb 08 but just realised that his name is not on the JP or addtional solemnisers list.
Anyone know if he is still licensed?
