Not the old ones..hdb built brand new ones that have wall to wall full height glass windows for the hall and all the rooms. very squarish layout and spacious. =) all taken up tho..except for the super low floors like #2. It's under "geylang balloting" or something =) anyway hb and me missed it... sigh!

We spend close to 40K on our reno..but then we actually did a huge amt of reno..hee hee..coz our flat is 21 yrs old alr n super old n in original condition. So we rewire the electrical in the whole home, repull all the pipes, plaster the whole house coz the previous owner walls n ceilings r all rock stone, hack all the floorings and wall tiles in the house n 2 toilets. We replace them wif homogenous tiles and parquet for the 3 bedrooms, slack tiles for toilets n balcony..painting, did all carpentery works like kitchen cabinets n walk in wardrobe using blum systems and grantite top for our kitchen and vanity tops in the toilets, hack away the 2 entrance to the toilets and re-create them as well as recreate new walls etc..the reno costs we spend also include the 3 aircons in the rooms and 1 aircon in the hall as well as toilets bowls, toilets accessories...

Great idea..coz renovating our hm gave us a sense of accomplishment coz we did it without contractors and can also maintain the quality n workmanship of the reno...good choice..rem to share pics wif us when u have completed yr reno ya.. ;P

Thanks..Oh our hall n room tv console is custom made by our carpenter who did all the wood works in our hm, like the balcony dividers, front entrance dividers, kitchen cabinets, stock in the hall n rest lor.. Hee hee...coz outside sure cant find such a length of tv console one...we gave our carpenter the design we wanted n he did it up lor..

initially i thought the sofa will make my living hall looks cramp but still buy it cos both my wife n me really like the sofa very much. my hall is not wide but long,luckily it's still quite ok after putting the sofa.

if u getting the sofa from celini..try not to get the other material though it's nicer cos quite difficult to maintain. i got the other material for my king size bed.. every now n then got to use vacuum cleaner to clear the dust.
it's very comfortable n now there's even more discount. i bought it for 1.9k now think it's selling 200 bucks cheaper.

i got it from Asanta Furnishings, located at katong shopping centre 01-18 tel:64474778. I also forgot the name of the lady who attend to me.hee.. but the price from dis shop is quite reasonable. I've got three bedrm and living rm with day n night curtain(full height), one study rm with half height roman blind, cost me about 2.4k. u can go to the shop n take a look,they've got a wide range n can work on ur budget.
