Do we have to break down 5 times per month then can get maximum rebate?
Can we actually swipe card every month $2k?
Thank you

Yes! You need to swipe minimum 5 trasnscation. Usually hotel is able to help you. So you need to break your $2000 into 5 transactions!

The rebates goes like this

Spend $500 every month for 3 consecutive months : get $50 on the 4th month (3.33%)

Spend $1000 every month for 3 consecutive months: get $100 on the 4th month (3.33%)

Spend $2000 every month for 3 consecutive months: get $300 on the 4th month (5%)

So far UOB is the highest for cashback for now ba.

Haha, my banquet is about $20000. So might as well pay $2000 every month to enjoy the maximum cash back. Treat it as paying installments Lor.

AMEX is good for cashback with no minimum spend. But the cashback is 1.5%. The first 6 months is 3% when you sign up!

I also sign up for DBS live fresh card for my own personal use. If you pay by paywave, you can get 5% cashback with minimum spend of $600 above. The cashback appears on the next following month statement!

So different cards is meant for different purpose.

Like the Shop coordinator will preselects a few gowns they think will suit u n ask u to trust their designer n experience
Instead of letting u roam around n look at the gown

Hi all - need help :X I was at ******** this morning and saw a few bridal studios for their actual day package. Most of them come with full day photographer as part of the package, except TWG. They have partners whom I can choose from.

We would also like to have photo booth as well as instant table photo print out (as we are inviting relatives who are of the older generation). Memoire had this add-on options which I thought was quite costly.

We met with a few photo booth vendor and their packages were quite reasonable which provides photo booth, AD photographer, AD videographer, instant table photo print + half day express video turn around.

Now, here comes the dilemma. Should i go with a AD bridal package sans photography and get the latter separately? Which is more worth it? Your advise would be much appreciated, thanks in advance! :)

thanks for sharing!! it depends on the overall package of the things u want? i am not getting a videographer as not going to have gatecrash. will be taking a photography package together with my bridal. then the photobooth options separately. u can check the different packages they offer and compare the price.

Come to think of it, my friend who took a package with a korean studio got that treatment too.

Mine is with a Singapore studio and they even allowed me to take photos when I was fitting before even signing any package.

Yea! haha Is a very common practice in Korea.

Seems like you got a good Singapore studio! I had really bad experience with many of them :(

Mine is with The Gown Warehouse. Had a very good experience on my first appointment plus package was really cheap. But I guess depends on the person serving you too. Hope you've found one you like?

Ahh!! I was thinking about that place too! But due to time constrain, I bought mine overseas since none of the others really impressed me.

I had one bridal studio that was horrible in their emails. x-x

hey girl. i am also having a lunch banquet and must leave my hse before 7am. however, i am not having a gatecrash. usually for lunch, ur ROM needs to be in the morning. u can only do ur solemnisation at 1pm if u are having a dinner banquet. another alternative is to do ur first march in then ur solemnisation on stage in front of all ur guest. only a suggestion as i have never seen anybody who does this.

Hi Carolyn,
Yah that sounds better, first march in then do solemnisation on stage... Can you share your AD itinerary? Thank you in advance !

Ladies, I have a question. Will you be buying 2 separate pairs of heels for PWS and AD? I be going to Jeju Island for PWS and BS told me to bring a pair of white heel and a pair of silver heels for the PWS. Can we wear back the same pair for my AD? Or AD need to wear a brand new heel?

Never heard of this pantang before... but of course new heels will look nice. I did read that some people prefer to wear a old but not that old heels because at least it won't hurt your feet on AD. So as long as it look nice should be fine?

I'm the same height as my HTB so I'm wearing flats though. Haha! I had a friend who wore flip flop for her outdoor shoot cuz the dress train will end up covering your feet.

Hehehe Thank you coldjade. hm... i won't be able to know what dress I be wearing until I am at the bridal studio in Jeju Island in next year March. I don't think can wear flipflop as the weather will be very cold. I been thinking of wear sneakers on my AD ... lol.. more comfortable...

Then better bring a pair of nice heels but choose something easier to pair with any gowns.

For AD, get those glam looking but comfy flats bah. In case you lift the gown then can see haha!

I want to check with u guys, is it necessary to have wedding favours?

Are you having banquet at hotel? Usually hotel will provide.
I don't think it's a must but it's nice lah, like it can be something small such as an instant print of their photos etc.

Have done a number of events with this arrangement.. however, I would recommend to consider the solemnisation post the 2nd March in .. so probably all the guests already arrived and not so hungry since the foods been served a few time *wink*.

Sneakers are great ideas and commonly wore during AD :). For prewed, you can also consider sneakers, and then bring the heels along to wear whenever they need to snap you with heels.

I signed up with gown warehouse too after shortlisting a few. They’re very flexible and good in their services.

Thank you coldjade & mschong for the recommendation! Seems like the gown warehouse is highly recommended. Will definitely go and take a look!

Anyone here engaging local photographer at the locations itself instead of going on a package from singapore for overseas prewed?

I engaged with their partner photographer too, they have a few partners. Maybe you can take a look at it and research their portfolio?
