my wording for wedding bands will b even worse, limited to 12 only cos of d design on my wedding bands so super limited

hi kioko, if u r the kind who will haf red patches after ur facial it is best to go earlier.. (depending on how long ur redness will take to clear up). actually u can go to those shops at chinatown tat sells wedding stuff n buy those GDL/an chuang packages frm them, saves u the trouble

Hi nec, you are really very brave. Whenever I am in Malaysia or BKK, I will make sure I bring bags without any openings to prevent pick pocket from attacking me. Also I make sure the bag is always in front, not behind me at all times. Cos if I really get pickpocketed, I won't be as brave as you to fight back.

Kioko, i know wedding preps are frustrating.
for bride side, the link provided by rach is very useful. For invites, mine is also 2 languages, friends and colleagues will write in english. As for relatives, my hubby gotten his uncle to help to write the names mostly in chinese.
I also have not gone for final fitting yet. my final fitting is on 7th june. Usually finally fitting is around 1 week before AD.
As for meeting up with your hotel coordinator. I already had my discussion. Discussion on ballroom setup, decor, themes, menus, the process. The coordinator will brief through what will happen on that day. Dont worry, because the coordinator is usually very experience.
Discussion with coordinator is not doing rehearsal. No need to bring any CDs along. If you need a session to test your CDs and montage is a seperate appt that you need to arrange with them.
Facial is not a must. But i am having mine 6 days before my AD. Colour of the hair, depends on you ba. For me, I am not doing anything.

Btw, what will your mothers be wearing for AD? Any ideas? Trying to help my poor mom here cos she does not know what to wear. She wants something which covers her arms. Still hv not found something nice. Any recommendation on where she can find suitable ones?

Hi ladies, for those who r sourcing for furniture pls DO NOT go to this shop called CO'ZY furniture at Furniture Mall.
they were supposed to deliver my wardrobe n bed today n I even called them on Thurs to confirm that the furniture r coming n they told me yes, they will arrive betw 2pm to 4pm. but only the bed came n by 4.30pm the wardrobe still have not arrive. when i called them they had the cheek to tell me that due to some "miscommunication" betw the store n factory, they have not fabricate my wardrobe!! WTH! n when the sales person who served us previously called, he had to cheek to raise his voice at me n talk to me in an impatient tone. I'm extremely pissed with them.

Using powerpt is a very gd and easy idea to self-make foto montage..I helped my friend to make a foto montage using powerpt b4..easier..=)

I am not doing the comb hair ritual... 1st, cos i dun stay with my dad and mum already pass away... 2nd, MIL and FIL divorce already... so hubby and myself decide to sleep instead... I am a Christian, so to me have dun have also ok... the rest, I leave it in the hands of God... kekeke..
But for combing of hair, needs a woman who is very bless and good life to comb... there's a specific timing to comb in accordance to yr HB and yr birthdate and time...so must go choose a auspicious time...And rach is correct that both the bride and groom must coordinate... meaning must comb at the same timing but at each other's home....

Hi Piyo1818.. my mum has problem wif her arms too.. den we found out tis tailor who specialise in cheongsam.. he suggested the nonya kerbaya and we jump on the idea cuz mine is a beach wedding and i tink quite suitable for the function and location.. we sourced for nice lace embroidery fabric frm arab st.. if you found a good tailor maybe ard one wk can be done le.. my mum's was done quite fast and i tink it looked good on her.. very well tailored.. btw the tailor is frm johor, muar.. so i dunno whether its ok for you..

meipo came wif my hubby n SIL wif 2 big baskets.. my mum cut the zhu jiao n returned them a portion, 4 boxes of cakes, returned 2 boxes..n those biscuits, we oso returned back some..4 boxes of mee sua,returned 2..oranges gave them back 6.. LOng Feng candles n liquor we kip.. then snap some pics.. n that's it.. chop chop ended quite fast

Praisey: When I told my HTB about you giving up on photo montage, he laughed! He say very cute. But can i ask you, if you dont show photo montage, then what sorta things you showing during the dinner? How many guests you have?

Any gals know where to get wedding accessories to match hairdo and gowns(eg. tiara, necklace, bracelets)? As some of you might know, I do not have a bridal package, Thus, I want to buy some just in case my tailor and/or make-up artist never match accessories for me. Just in case.

1. FairLady @ Shaw Centre #03-33/34.. There is this brand call ViVie in the shop.. They also sell mens shoes..I think currently they are having sale there.. =) You can take a look at the ViVie website at http://www.vivie.com.sg/
2. You can go to Robinson to take a look.. Saw some nice shoes there recently..
3. Lastly, is LoeandBehold by Belinda. You can check out the designs of the shoes at http://www.loeandbehold.com.sg/. I bought my shoes from her.. Her shop aka house is located at Sixth Ave.. Very nice lady.. Was recommended by friend and went wif her for her shoe searching.. and I love her 'blink' 'blink' shoes!!
