The lalang area is at Pouggol, a very secluded place. You can check with your PG, he/she should know coz its quite a famous spot for PS.

Ive book Segami junior photographer (Alex) coz there have a package C (if u were to check with Andrew), its so much more efforable for me as im over over over budget... Haha!!!

Wow luckily for me, i only need to worry for my wedding as i will be staying with my PIL :<

I guess he's always on tv and newspapers, so everyone thought he's good and wants to engage him...so he's very hot = popular.

But my personal experience with him is that he's pretty accomdating and friendly...felt quite at ease with him.

Anyway, went for my food tasting yesterday, on the whole not too bad and the coordinator told us that Hai tian lou is voted the best restaurant in singapore 2005. But I dun really find the food FANTASTIC leh...maybe I very picky eater..heheh

After collecting keys, you need to inspect your place.

Reno takes up a lot of time even before it starts cos you spend a lot of time deciding on the ID/ contractor then it's choosing of materials and also deciding on layout and also where you intend to put your stove/sink/washer/fridge so that they can construct the base. The list goes on after reno works start.

Luckily my new place is near my current home and I'm a full-time tutor so I can pop by as and when I like. It's really a tiring process but the thought of having a cozy place of my own is enough to push me on.

if you are not 'pang tan', it does not matter which date you choose. If you are particular, you should engage a geomancer to pick an auspicious date according to your eight characters.

A good date for me might not be a good date for you. It all depends on your eight characters and whether you believe or not.

In general, 2006 is a good year for marriage. Late Sept and October is popular because it's 8th month in the lunar calendar. Again, a good month doesn't mean is good month for everyone.

I'm not sure about marriage in 2007 but I know that's the year of Pig. 2005 was not a good year for marriage but still I have a few friends who got married last year as it's ok for them according to their eight characters. I also have a friend who is getting married in lunar 7th month this year cos he's Christian and he is not superstitious.

Just sharing my two cents' worth and hope it answers your doubts.

girls.
just got back from weddin bands shopping.. finally finalised.... yeah... went to almost all shops... lee hwa, aspial, dmeyson, soo kee, goldheart, flower, fairys inc, larrys, tiffany, cartier, montblanc, .... blar blar.. so tiring.. as i am so late in the shopping and my PG is soooo near, we didnt really have much choices!!! most of them requires custom make.... sigh.. anyway now that the bands are settled, i felt so much lighter... !!

ah.... my white gown top is a bit translucent... they gave me the bra padding... but i am thinking to replace it with my sticker bra.. so more sexy i guess.. hee hee.. adel ki hiao....

stupid BS called this evening to say my FH's suits can only come in on mon nite... then my outdoor PG will hv him in the OTR suits.... FH upset... so now no choice.. delay one more day.. PG will be 1 day later... lucky my boss were more pleased with the change... ( as he forgot abt my leav and got lotsa stuff for me to settle... ) no choice la....

yester i went for my trial make up... brought a friend along to my BS... as the designer rejected me a few times on how i wanted my gown to be altered.. my friend quite piss with her.. sigh....

food tasting... wow u all so early.. i siao liao.. invites yet printed... food tasting not scheduled... i tot food tasting is only done 1 month before the AD??? oh my.... freaking out now.... oh yes talkin abt the trial make up... not beri fantastic.. a bit disappionting.. never mind la.. hopefully my natural "beauty" can help do the job la... sianz....

sorry ah.. one whole day never post to u all but now.. post soooo long.. haha... starting to get used to here liao...

silverlining's located along the shophouses near maxwell market. There's an indian temple along that road. It's directly oppo that temple. On the second floor. Give Jit a call first before you go down cos it's a one-man show so if you turn up unexpectedly, he may not be available to speak to you. I was torn between silverlining and ted wu initially and only decided on ted when i found out he can do low back gowns too. If you love organza and low LOW back gowns, go for jit! His signature gowns are low-back ones. Loved every single gown i tried on at his place. Good luck!

which BS did you go to? they're mostly full of BS la. if you know what i mean *wink*. most serve us brides thinking that they can try to milk the most out of us based on the 'it's once in a lifetime' sales pitch. but they forget that we're all still young and we have many friends who haven't chosen a BS yet. and word or mouth recommendation is very powerful!!!

Ive been to both Silverlining & Divine Couture cos' im a sucker for low back gowns too! Hee. Both have beautiful gowns but i decided on Divine Couture eventually cos' i feel their embroidery is a wee bit better when i actually tried on the gowns, & besides, Divine is more conviniently located in town & i work ard the area mah, so i can pop in time to time for my fittings. It's a personal preference, think u shld go down to both studios to take a look.

i think we just agreed on our wedding vows and i would like to share them with you. i have been involved in many weddings (was in a church choir since maybe 14 or 15 years old) and i always cry at them. even if i didn't know the bride or the groom. i know that i will cry all day at my own, but i never expected that even copying the wedding vows would have such a big impact on me. i was reading the words out just to test the flow, and flow my tears did!!

anyway i've included 2 more that may be of use to some of you, and they're absolutely wonderful too, but we chose to stick to the original vows, the standard one, the one that made me cry over all the years.
