I did my nails at Flaunt at meritus mandarin shopping arcade..they have a promotion with DBS women's card..i bought a package , 3 sets of mani/pedi + 1 spa mani/pedi at only $148..so if u want french just add 5 bucks per mani or pedi..

The Graddroots club at YCK, the food not bad, service ok lah.. space wise also ok, not too cramped.. only thing is, u still get the feeling u are sitting in a MPH/ badminton court lah despite the decor.. but it is in a very convenient spot.. very assible for your guest.

Went there for friend's wedding and church anniversary dinner before..

tsukushi, the package @ PINC will be based on full price. My previous package was 5mani & 5pedi = $275, they charged full price for package but give f.o.c 1hand & 1feet paraffin. Agreed their price is ex but gd service lor. the staffs are v friendly. I experienced bad service @ hollywood secrets...the manicurist hurt my nail when she was cleaning the cuticles. In the end, the finger was bleed. Pay for service end up suffered the pain....

janet, if you have a choice, go for country clubs.. classier.. i think the grassroots club MPH not glam enough.. if no other choices, i rather cut my guest list and use restaurant..

regarding ur concerns abt venue, my thots are like this: sometimes I think that's a little dependent on luck. Of course, we would like to have everything planned out nicely and not last min type. So we would like to secure the venue 1st. But sometimes, there may be pple who changed their minds abt the place and decide to cancel their booking or transfer their packages. So, you may still be able to get your venue.

Can understand you not wanting a rush wedding. It just doesn't seem as meaningful. We all want to enjoy the process of planning for it, so that it'll be just perfect...

Actually, maybe when you discuss this with him, he might suddenly be able to see your concerns and he might have some good suggestions too. Afterall, communication is very impt in a relationship. So, keep the communication channels open and discuss things.

No la, I put the wedding prep aside when I was there. Had enough of it when I'm in Sg already. Ha ha.. I got a pair of silver heels from there, abt $60, not cheap also. Din have time to go Disneyland though. Thot of going next time when I shift there.

I'm still left with AngPow box, guest book and Guo Da Li. I also dunno what to prepare for GDL and it's gotta be end of this month before HB leaves for HK to work. Ask my mum also she doesnt know. Gotta ask HB to ask him parents. Hmm...looks like i dun have much time left.

Y the relatives would be unhappy leh? It shd be a joyous affair coz u r getting married ma. Got more 'xi qi' in the house. Hee.

so excited to find so many Sep 06 brides here.

do help me with this. i am super stressed up!!! not to talk abt the dieting etc etc... i haven even booked the banquet venue. only started looking into website like this last wk and was so stressed up that banquet got to book like so way way in advance. any help that i can find here? my FH and i are planning to have abt 15 to 20 tables ranging $600-$700. its very last min thingy cos we thought of not having it but our parents changed their mind last wkend tat they prefer to have a proper wedding dinner!!! man... i feel so stress!!!
the only thing i settled is the BS, i getting from White Link by the way...

hi janet, I agree with bsproffy. Grassroots club like not glam enough. I go there for CNY lunches more than once every year cos always got people treat and the food so so only. Service I heard not too good. Orchid country club i know for a fact that service sucks cos my company hosts functions there. I say take a look at raffles town club and pinetree club. How about botanic gardens and the zoo?

i also applied for the TPY balloting. My q no was 636 or smthg, and i tot not much chance. then i applied for SK walk in selection and gave up the TPY one. That was just a week after i got my q no for TPY.. but i cant wait for HDB to send me the letter to go down to select. Sad man. I actually prefer TPY cos it's really very convenient. but FPIL live in Sengkang. That's why made the ultimate decision. Wats ur q no can i know ? Just curious.

i've also signed up with dawn BS at JB city square. very impressed with their photo album. i only signed with them on the second trip. it's true they do not provide car and AD make up artist but they do provide car deco but u've got to tie yourself... was told that it's very easy and they will teach u... i'm looking for MUA for my AD on 7 oct.
