Yar...i got my package from Venus...Never heard of them b4..but "sai ko"(attached) by them at the JB bridal fair...whaha.."yi jian zhong qing"..(love at first sight)..but if you wan me to tell you the quality..i cant tel you..coz i also din visit their shop personally..overall..think the comments for this BS still ok loh..their selling pt is their photographer...
like everyone advise me..most impt you list out wat you really wan first...like...photo..gown..
if you are looking at photo...maybe get a package with more photos but of coz...quality of the pictures loh...if you think wan the beautiful beautiful gowns..wear liao look like fairy...dan of coz you will pay for a designer gown loh...yar..divine gown will make you look like fairy...super nice..but a price to pay for being a fairy loh...hehehe..yi fen qian..yi fen huo...

I can share..

For Divine, it is not the same as Singapore though they claim it is. They do not have a in house photographer. Meaning you have to find one yourself. But they also recommend la.

I myself been to several JB BS.

1) JB Santiago - gowns are ok, nice photos and good service. Package seem ok About 24 pieces of 15inch photos( 24 poses). The package, I forget already but quite standard kind.I manage to bargain to 45 photos with some of the other perks exchange.

2) JB Elegance - Have VERY VERY nice gowns. Service is good but package is very standard and very firm in bargaining. Photos are nice too.

3) JB Milan - Gowns are ok, the lady do not seem wan to talk much. Service ok only. Package is also very standard. Photography is quite good. But heard their photograher is leaving. So I do not know if Photography still as good

4) New York Classic ( My choice)I paid RM$4688 ( Plus 2D 1 N to Tioman for PS)
Saleperson is very agressive to sell, bargain till you want if possible. I did mine. I obtain 60 poses ( Magazine style) on 15 inch huge album. 21 photos of 8R size, totally different from the main album and CD ROM of photos all return , of course alot more.

WG are nice but cannot compare to Elegance.
But the EG selection are quite limited.
Photography is nice too.

I choose this because of the perks i got. As long as photography and gowns are nice, I am ok. I know a girl from forum just went last sunday , I chat with her and learnt that she tried 30 over gowns OTR and said they have many designs now.

For EG, we have MTM so, no worry too.

5) Venus - I did not went over as I am too tired for the search at JB. Check with Cu2nite, she signed at the fair and her package is as good too..

Most important, see what you need. I understand myself that I definitely will choose alot of photos. So other package which only offer me 21 photos, I sure top up like mad and in the end choose even more and spend more

I did a list on JB BS, I think i send to Cu2nite b4. See if she can send to you soon. I am in office. No list here..

** One tip for u
If you are at the BS, ask to try the gown, ask to see real customers' photos. Because if they use models, the photos are definitely nice. So try asking. I was lucky to see JB Santiogo and New York Classic's real customers photos as when I was there, they were sitting there to select their photos already. My hubby and I just asked if we can take a look too..

** everything must be in black and white too..

I have been wanting that design since I saw it in Margaret's. But hers was too costly and I don't want to keep my gown so I signed up with the JB one instead. But my FH knew that I really loved that WG so he got me a MTM package from Margaret as a birthday present

But it's only for the WG so the main bulk of my package still with the JB BS.

To tell you the truth, I was very touched and yet heartpain abt the $$ at the same time. Dunno to hug my FH or to hantam him for spending the money without consulting me.

How much does Sam Ong charges? He sometimes will help magazines to do makeup. Notices that he likes to use brown colors for the makeup. That kind of brown that I dun really like. Guess that's his style. The recent I weekly few weeks ago features IVy lee and Vivian Lai as cover girl, he was the MUA.

I have dark + yellowish tint skin too, I choose Ivory, it looks nice on me. Gives me that kind of classical look... If you want to go for modern wedding gown, I think you should try on white color then. That's my advice.. Cancan is still in, my wedding gown is bustier princess cut..

i rent 2 different motif kuas...kekeke...one for my ps and the other for my AD. for ps, i chose the butterfly and flowery embroidery piece, for my AD, i chose the traditional one...the dragon and phoenix embroidery. The price varies. The more complicated the design, (ie. more embroidery, the more expensive it is). The cheapest range starts from $268, mine is $298. Too complicated design doesn't look nice on me...**phew**...the boss is a very nice lady!

I agree that my first fitting is very late so just have to pray hard and hope that everything turns out ok? Cannot afford any screw-ups. My BS called already and first fitting scheduled on the 29th Oct.

I have not compiled my guest list yet (from HB, in-laws and parents side) although I have prepared a rough list of who I will be inviting. But I am just worried too that there will be people who will not turn-up even though they have verbally agreed to turn up.

my idea of entertainment same as u...show wedding photos as an on going thing b4 1st march in, the when going to prep for 2nd march in would creen express highlights, and afer 2nd march in it's photos all over again. If the photo montage DIY, can show whole album, thk okay lor...to repeat, coz wun have to repeat many times, but if get pro to do,thk they would limit the no. of photos for the montage rite?

thk with this lind of prices for wedding banquet these days, unless pple chg thier mindsets abt $80-$100 ang pao per pax, if not chances are CONFIRM lugi.....times has change, actually pple shld adjust accordingly, and give min $100 per pax hor.....I calculate, most hotels by the time u +++ is almost 1k a table easily....if guests still stick 2 $80-$100, then haiz.........we can just eat prata everyday liao........

Sam's charges is $600 inclusive of trial for AD. I had wanted kenneth but he didn't want to meet up and he doesn't have a ready portfolio. In fact he asked me to look for magazines for his work. How on earth am I going to search for all the mags that has his works?? Tot he got abit attitude problem. Also heard good comments about Leon. Think someone even says he's cute hehe...

Go to www.download.com and key in "Proshow" at Search..Then download it. Its say free to try..

Now.. It is really free to try... but... u cannot save and play to see what you have done over at Proshow.. So u got to do something. I think from here, some IT expert here already know how to do it..
