had my 1st fitting.. =)

had a really happy experience there. Jean was very friendly and helpful, giving me suggestion and honest opinion on what suits me and what doesn't (and mostly, i agree).. fynix was there to help too! liked that they are both very thoughtful..they based on the gowns i have tried and the comments i made (eg: what i like abt the gown, what i don't like about the gown) and from there, they have a rough idea of what to get for me.. in the end, fynix went upstairs and found a wedding gown for me. love it the moment i tried it on! Really thankful to fynix on this!!

like what everyone here said, they really have alot of WG.. but for EG, i really have a very hard time trying to find one.. mayb it's because i'm abit too tanned... =(
managed to find one that i'm willing to make do with.. but still do not like the EG as much as i like my WG... feel abit sad
so i'm contemplating to MTM since it's in my package - if can't find, can MTM...

i flipped magazines but can't find a EG that wow me.. so i called back YC to tell Jean that i'll make do with the EG i choosen previously..

to my surprise, she encourage me to find one that i really like.. and suggested that i look at WG photos too.. with the same design, i can change the color... i can test out the color on myself by trying them in the BS...
it does give me a little more hope of getting an EG that i really like.
well, even if din manage to MTM my EG, i'm still happy.. i thought Jean could have allow me to make do with my EG to save herself trouble.... but she didn't... =) really appreciate that.

oh.. and not to forget, my FH say when he came over to my fitting room, he was shocked to see a mountain of dresses... jean had helped me and let me tried on quite alot of dresses... i was too enthu to find my gown.. (very happy trying on gowns...hoping to find something that can make me look pretty pretty... hee) that i did not realise i have really tried many gowns...
but despite all these, Jean is still cheerful and still giving opinions and suggestion, taking other gowns for me to try... =)

kinda mixed feelings and feel pretty worried as i have heard horror stories of MTM from friend at other BS... i'm scared that it will happen to me too..
things like discussion and actual gown is different..end up very ugly but no choice have to take up...otherwise have to add $ to amend the design...
another friend found a design she like on magazine and ask to change the color and little design here and there.. but end up she find it ugly...

hope it won't happen over here at YC....*keeping my fingers crossed*

BTW, i decided to try Sandy as my trial makeup.. since my ROM and AD are on the same day and won't get to use my trial makeup for any other occasions le...

hey girls.. i wanted to sign up with them.. the coordinator and all is super friendly. Mine is Joanne..

But the prob is i managed to find my Dream WG OTR!! but the prob is after telling them what i want for EG, a cheongsam, they dont seem to have alot to show. so i am a little worried.

Went down to My Bridal Room along Bugis street.. Realised that their gowns, EG and kua is sooo pretty.. but their preice of course a little steep and they limit the amt of dress tha tyou can try on.. alot of ppl but mainly looking at the packages.. didnt see anyone signed up..

I am confused!

speedmastress_headhuntress, u mean they limit the no of dress you can try on when u are deciding on whether to sign with them anot?
or u mean not all the OTR gowns are available on selection based on your contract/package? i know some BS do that...

anyway i heard MBR has alot of nice gowns. but not veri sure abt their svc etc.. u can go thru their thread to find out more

if u like YC, maybe u can ask for free MTM for both your WG & EG in your contract first, juz in case u really cant find any gowns u like.

to be fair, i would advise u to take up one that has the gowns u like and u are comfortable with their svc etc. not forgetting the $$$$...
(like me, if im rich, i would have signed up with Amanda Lee, haha!!!)

Missy, i dont find Amanda Lee's gowm impressive.. the price alone is enough to kill! hahaha I know hat service and gown is impt.. see how la.. yes. what i meant is, MBR only limits to three try outs max b4 u sign the package.. they seem to be very haolian.. so dont really liek la.. although they ahve nice gowns.. haha

Hmm, I've got my album but the small album looks kind of weird, with our pictures being cut half in the middle (not linked).. Do any others experience the same??

thanks cac, you should look out for this when you finalise the album with them. They didn't inform us that the small ones will be cut like that. For the big ones, when I asked, they did mention that they will print in one full page and then in middle will be folded. I assumed the small ones is the same rather than being cut half.
When I spoke with the coordinator, they mentioned that it's all the same. So I want to check with you gals if any experience the same? I want to know before I made a case to them. My mum wasn't quite happy with the dis-joint pictures and insist that I ask YC to do sth abt it.
