Single but HDB records still reflect Married

I annulled my first marriage in 2011 and I am getting married end of this year. We applied for a re-sale flat and HDB says, "Single means never married before," and then asked for my annulment cert. Annulment means never happen and single right?

Why do they have marriage records and not annulled/divorced records? Will this affect my chance of getting my home?

Not really true. Official record would still put you as annulled. I don't think it would affect your chances of getting a flat. You just need to have all the proper documentations with you.
