Renovation Contractor To Recommend

Hi Gals,
I just got my punggol flat recently and my contractor did an excellent job. Most of my friends who came during our house warming all gave very good comments.

I have engaged Good Term Contractor (Bk Merah Central) and my contractor is Edmund Er(H/P:90290900)He gave a very reasonable quotation which is the cheapest of all 3 contractors that we compared. Most importantly, he was very accomodating (as we made quite a number of changes) and gave us additional free things like mirrors, dish rack, etc.Even though the quotation was resonable, the products come in good quality.
One of my relatives who is also in the carpentry business actually commented that the cabinets were of good quality.

We were very glad that our renovation went smoothly as we have heard of too much stories on renovation that went wrong. Hence, I would like to share with you gals on this contractor I have found.

Pls note that I am not advertising for him, just that would like to help those searching for a good contractor.I was previously the same person who first recommended Daniel(the make up artist)to the website.

I have just finished my renovation with Good Term Contractors (Bkt Merah) too. Overall, we are very pleased with their workmanship except the carpentry which needs some corrections/touch-up. However, the laying of tiles and plastering were done very well, esp the homogenous tiles (2'X 2')we had for the living/dining area.

Their quotation is very reasonable compared to few other quotes we got from other contractors. Especially those firms from the Home exhibition which are exorbitant. We hacked away every thing for my resale 5room flat and we chose Good Term because of our co-ordinator which did a very good follow-up job.

Moon's Co-ordinator Edmund has been transferred to their Jurong branch already and my co-ordinator at Bt Merah branch is Alan Loy (Office Tel: 6273 5273, HP: 9005 8033).

You may call him for a quotation, he is not pushy at all and is very fast in giving the quotation. Most importantly, he remembers your instructions and conveys your message clearly to all his workers. We really appreciate this very much.

However, not practical to compare quotation on a item-by-item basis as they price differently depending on the size of the project. For bigger jobs like mine, the itemised pricing may be cheaper cos' they calculate on a overall profit basis. Thus, better to ask for a customised quotation and compare with other contractors.

i also have an renovation contractor to recommend too , the company is called Empire Interior Design & Renovation , their services is not bad, they even design and sketch out the dwgs for you to see... most important thing they are very patient.... their workmanship is very good.... my house is renovated by them and at the moment i see their attitude not bad... their even can recommend where to buy furniture for you too...

I must say the price is really very reasonable from them..given that the material you chose for your floors are all quite expensive materials..
Will probably consider them when my house is coming in a few mths time..Thanks again!

this is my first time here, wanted to renovate my new house at punggol. recently when to asia pacific fair. this company had u heard of them, Ciseern. able to speak the designer seem that they are quite professional, wht would u think if I sign up with them.

ciseernit quite a good company.. you can go to the forum under ciseern to ask those who enage them to reno their hse ... they will give you a better idea of ciseern. sorryu cannot help you much
