my wedding is in sept and the last time i spoke to my co-ord was many months ago. i cant remb what is the next step im supposed to take? which one is first? food tasting, confirm theme and collect cards?

you can start of by arranging with your coordinator to view the themes at the upcoming weddings. this will give you a better idea on how each theme looks like.
have you seen the cards range? found something you like? If yes, you can give a tentative confirmation to your coordinator. Meanwhile, you can work on your guest list. This will determined the qty of the inserts.
as for the foodtasting, you can arrange it about 1-1.5 months before your AD. A weekday will be more ideal as the chef will seek your feedback after the tasting.

Well, I agree it will be awkward but this is afterall your big day. Besides, you are spending so much money on it so I feel that you should voice out the problems with your coordinator first. If he or she is not willing to help, then you have no choice but request to switch?
hi cloudz 7, there is no escape for the gst. Many of us tried to negotiate a waiver but to no avail. Guess it is a practice of most hotel since the gst goes to the govt, not the hotel. Welcome to our thread!

i'm gng for my gown selection tomo and need to know the colours of the curtain and walls of the main ballroom on the grd floor. suddenly remb that need to chk the colours so that wont blend into the wall or stage.

how was ur gown selection? i think the ballroom is cosy beige color.. so.. any striking colors should be able to stand out.. jus in case u wanna reconfirm, suggest u call ur coord to confirm the curtain n theme color to make sure the color u chose stands out.. ^_^

thanks so much for reverting. hehe.. the sudden wave of panick man. in the end, i have decided on a make to measure EG, but was still deciding on the color, either two-tone orangey pink (like katie holmes' gown at the oscars) or two tone grey and black. in the end, i called my BS to tell them to hold back on EG. coz i havent confirmed wat i want.
HTB wanted me to wear somethg tight tt shows off figure, but im not so confident. so in e end the design i chose was heart shaped neckline, but the bottom is similar to the puffy sorta WG. sigh... really dunno wat i want. any ideas or websites to get EG designs? Thanks

erm... my personal opinion is 2-tone orangey-pink cos grey + black seems dull.. u should stand-out remember? btw, which theme are u planning to choose? if summer jazz, u dun hv to worry abt color.. cos it's gonna be colorful!! ultimately, choose the gowns & colors u like.. u need to feel comfortable in order to look confident right! ^_^
