Pan pacific is one of the two which fits our requirements

Hi Wendy thx 4 sharing.. i like the theme displayed at pacific ballroom..same thought as Michelle check w my coordinator any coming wedding use the theme at ocean so that can c the actual display..

Once i hav chosen mine song to match with the ballroom will share with everyone.
I have a feel taht this song must let all the guest feel that it is grand wedding.

Im back from signing the contract. Together with the contract documents, my coordinator handed us some useful sample documents like the things to do starting from 15 mths b4 marriage all the way til marriage ends, and a song list which we can use if we cant find any songs, a MC sample speech in english n chinese, and a wedding dinner sample plan.

I think thats very sweet of Pan Pacific to do that

wiwi> u shld juz email pan pacific directly for their latest package. Ive emailed almost all hotels, and they will reply u with the pkg valid for ur wedding date. So its best if you email them directly to get the correct and valid information

Now that with the actual display of Divine Elegance at the Ocean ballroom, i think i prefer Divine Elegance to the Garden of Poise. It does looks more grand and classy. hee. & is less fragile as compared to the garden of poise.

Hi Kelly, same tots...garden of poise may look nice...but my other concern is...will those stands along the march in aisle block some of our guests view when they are viewing the videos...

It really depends on indivdual to comment on the food & svc... i personally find that they r still quite up to standard

When is ur Big Day?? Perhaps u will hv to chk out the svc of their coordinators first...

DS_Gerl> Yup, I guess I was lucky as my wedding is only 5 months away. Apparently one couple gave up this date and made it available. I'm taking the Ocean Ballroom which is perfect for the no. of tables I'm expecting. Very blessed.

Pearl> The video was taken during the wedding show in March and showed all the 5 themes. My fiance and I like one of the themes (Medieval Love) but found the table and chairs too dark for our liking.

Just met up with linda just now to take a look at the ballrooms... it seems that the Ocean Ballroom is a tad too small (low ceiling.. looks a little like a conference hall rather than a ballroom)

But we need to meet 38 tables for the pacific room...

i'm in a real dilema....

DS Gerl> yup, it's the black and red theme. I was wondering if I could change the seat covers to a lighter colour, then the whole ballroom won't look too dark.

Eileen> Yes, if you compare Pacific and Ocean Ballroom, Pacific has a higher ceiling indeed and looks more spacious. Nevertheless, I agree with DS Gerl, if you can't meet the min. no. of tables for Pacific Ballroom, then the Ocean Ballroom is a good cosy area for the appropriate no. of tables. I think with the wedding setup (floral and lighting) in the ballroom, it will not look like a conference hall anymore.
