need advice !

Hi there,

First timer posting here..

Am a chinese muslim girl getting married soon to my fiance, a malay guy.

so anyway, now i'm stuck planning
.
On mak andam services and all..
I've decided to just have a solemnisation with a buffet in a restaurant and only invite relatives, inbviting close friends.

I'm convinced that in terms of costs and expenses, this will be a better way, less things to prepare, and less stressful too. but at the same time worried that one day I will regret that I didn't get to celebrate the occasion with my friends. Any advice ?

already starts planning n researching

now starting to stress over the nikah itself. We're not doing besanding, just nikah, doa selamat, and reception. Too many stress points:
1) fiance and I both want either an unusual venue, or a "homey" one (e.g. his home)
2) Our HDB is not available (under renov)
3) Nikah and Doa Selamat will see about 300people(initially i wanted 200 but izwan dad say is possible to b more then less), Future father-in-law has offered to cook(yay)but still we will call in catering to lessen the burden
4) Many old folks and conservative muslim relatives coming plus my family side is coming, so nikah location and reception location must be very close to each other, or one and the same.
5)will have staggered timing ... one is to withess the nikah process , the next is for relatives n friends to join in for reception
