Someone in this forum asked for reviews on bridal packages so I inadvertently ended up compiling a list of links within this forum where I have left reviews on the many different vendors whose services I engaged in or whose products I bought:

Bridal Boutique Package i.e. gowns, suit, MUA, flowers (Jawn Happy.Ever.After): http://singaporebrides.com/weddingforum/threads/jawn-happy-ever-after.2278/page-82#post-1934783

Make-up Artist i.e. MUA (Melissa Yeo - part of bridal boutique package):

ROM / Solemnization Venue (Bethesda Church Bukit Arang):
Sorry, no specific review previously left in this forum. BCBA is my home church in Singapore which is about a 10-minute walk from either Lorong Chuan MRT or Serangoon MRT. It currently has 2 pastors/elders who are licensed solemnizers on the ROM register. The main sanctuary where the wedding's held can sit about 200-300 pax. Has sufficient number of VIP parking lots while guests will need to park at neighbouring HDB carparks. Has an outdoor court that can be transformed into a reception area for lunch post-solemnization. No rental fee although a "love gift" token is appreciated. Currently only open to use for members of BCBA via booking through church admin.

Tentage (Outdoor Wedding Specialist trading under Nanyang Inc Pte Ltd):

Someone asked me about my post-solemnization lunch catering and I realized that I haven't left any reviews in this forum, oops! Anyway, here it is:

Post-solemnization lunch catering (Stamford Catering):
We hunted all over the place for a caterer that can fit our budget and palate and we're pleased to pick Stamford for the job. First tried their food at an NUH function and that prompted us to seek out their details when we love what we tasted. Their price is also remarkably lower than other similar-range caterers yet they offer more dishes for the same price and also more variety than your usual catering dishes. Really value for money and our guests love the food we picked out as well. Their food is also halal in case you have any Muslim guests like we do... Would recommend Stamford to those seeking for a budget-yet-quality catering service... ;)

Just realized that I haven't left any reviews for my wedding invitation card vendor so here it is:

Invitation Cards (TDragonCards):
Came as part of the package when we signed up for our banquet with Hotel Fort Canning. When we visited TDragonCards, we saw that they had a whole set of drawers with labels of different hotel names to save different orders from different customers - there were quite many hotels that utilize their service as part of their banquet package. Perhaps because they're assured of the never-ending stream of customers (thanks to the many hotels that have a contract with them), their service is generally just so-so and very chop-chop-straight-to-the-deal.. Don't mistaken me - they were never rude nor arrogant but personally, I felt that they could be a lil friendlier and warmer in their service. After all, PR skills are essential in engaging any client. Still, I didn't want to be prejudiced against them for such a reason - I wanted to see if their work could match up even if their service couldn't. The standard invitation card package that comes with any hotel contract (no difference which hotel) only covers the design and artwork and the basic cards. Printing cost is separate (basic printing cost is reasonable) and if you decide to add on any additional icon/picture, there is a separate charge as well. If you decide to print in a different colour as opposed to their standard colour, there will be an additional charge as well for the ink. If you want to print on inserts, they will charge you the cost of the insert paper. For us, we wanted to keep our invitation cards simple yet classy so we picked a design that was already nice by itself and never opted for anything that incurs a separate charge except for an additional cost for the artwork because we requested to have our morning church solemnization ceremony details included in the artwork (yeah, they charge extra for having to deal with extra-text artwork that escapes their usual standard template of just purely the banquet details alone). Oh, and there's also additional charges if you want to change any part of the artwork after you confirm/approve it. So please do check properly before you confirm/approve their artwork for printing. This is more so when we realized that they are quite error-prone. Though we've provided them with the right details, there are still occasional spelling mistakes here and there. When we emailed them back (yes, they liaise with you via email) with the corrections, they amended the parts we highlighted but sometimes still got other parts wrong. We ended up having to make several corrections. Although their service includes coming up with the Chinese text/translation on the card, our parents realized that some of the choice of words used are slightly more casual which could have been substituted with more formal ones that befit an important occasion like a wedding (yes, we highlighted to them to amend some of these words but as mentioned previously, they're error-prone not just in English but also in Chinese). We had to proofread the artwork several times and even kept getting our parents to double and triple check before we eventually confirmed and approved the artwork to proceed for printing. Apart from their average service and their tendency towards errors (which can be an inconvenience at times when you keep having to check then print out then make the correction then scan then email back to them), their work is otherwise up to par. Printing was done promptly in the promised timeframe and quality of the card and printing was similar to the samples we were shown before we placed our order. If your hotel already has a contract with them, then no harm continuing to engage in their service (after all, you have indirectly paid for it when you signed up with the hotel - I'm sure this hidden cost is already included in the banquet package) but do be mindful of the things I've pointed out. If your hotel doesn't have a contract with any card company or if you're planning to handle the cards on your own, you may want to consider if you can bear with the issues that I've pointed out and come to a final decision yourself...

what was your experience like with isnap?

It is as I wrote in my reviews (the links are as in my first post in this thread).. Really friendly and easy people to work with yet professional at the same time plus they're efficient.. And their rates are generally much cheaper than many other PG/VG out there.. If there's any specific questions you have in mind about them, just ask and I'll do my best to answer them.. ;)
