Hi Happydisney, if I m not wrong, mine is in portrait size at 20x24. My album size I took 10x14 instead of 12x15. If you are taking bigger album then you ll need to pay. I just signed up last week, was charged with gst too as i like their service that day. Not pushy n didnt not say anything about other BS. Since there's gst so service should b gd. I hope..
Does anyone knw if we have to pay for the transport carpark n petrol ?

Nope, parking and petrol is by MDW.

I heard that GST is to protect consumers.
Anything happen to the shop, we are being protected.

And also I notice in my contract that there's r-$1200 written beside the gown, does this means that I can only choose from range at 1200 instead of off the rack??

Just called to check with them, was told that VIP rack can't take n most of the rack is $1200 range. Are your contract the same as mine, hope is really this way if not I ll b vry upset bride!!!

Thanks meiling! Really hope that i can find the gown that i love with no extra charges requires..Can I check if the make up artist ll show us the kind of make up we prefer? As there s no trial make up so quite worried too..

No problem. It's nice to share what I have been through.

Nope, we only get to see the MUA on the photoshoot day. Maybe you can tell your coordinator how you want the makeup to be?

Anyone took their album less than 5 months? As my wedding is in Oct, I m worried that it might not be in time as e contract states 5-6 months ready.

The makeup quite good. Mine was a taiwanese... Very natural.

I choose my photos on 1st week of oct, and got the album after CNY.

I think the makeup is good. During the photoshoot gown fitting and interview, they got ask me about what kind of makeup i like, what colour i prefer etc .. and also hairstyle. I told them what I want and like and during my photoshoot day, my MUA communicated with me before she start, and she had all the info that I mentioned during the interview.

Gd to knw the make up is nice! Is there a need to request for MUA? And I also heard there's a charge of $300 for this request??? Same goes to photography, have to request??? All should be licensed as MUA & photographer, so their skill should have been tested by MDW right??? Sorry I have so many worries & qns to ask?

For photographer you can request but depends on their availabilty. Like us, we requested Jackson but end up last min he got to attend a meeting thus we got Eric. But Eric was good too. All their photographers are good lah. They won't ruin their shop reputation.

For MUA i never request. I think most brides commented at forums that to get Mico to be your MUA, need to top up $300.
If she is assign to you by MDW w/o requesting, you don't need to pay for the top up.

I was quite worried initially too! No trial make up.. But lucky it turn out well. My MUA is Charmaine. She's quite good, well prepared with the information i said during the gown fitting interview. I have small eyes! She's very patience and i really love the makeup.. my eyes look so much bigger! =D

My photographer is Jackson. Fun and nice guy to take photograph with. I went to view my photos few weeks ago .. all the pose he suggested were very good!! Had such a hard time choosing (me and fiance on tight budget! so cant choose too many.. so heartpain when we had to reject some photos .. but no choice!)

Agree with Meiling, all their photographers are quite good, they won't ruin their reputation. I've got friends who signed up with them previously too (only found out after I signed .. so coincidental, cos not only 1 but a few frens signed with them), i've seens some of their photos .. all is good and we were under different photographer .. =)

Understand like us we also on tight budget, so can understand..after hearing under different photographers, the photo also turns out well, i felt more relieved. As when i see their wedding album that i like, i did not ask if the photographer is still there.

Therefore, we hope to find someone who is interested to know more about the package and willing to buy over from us. Hi Piglet, not that I don't want to show you, just that I don't have the photos yet. Only went to select the photos 3 weeks ago. Now waiting for them to edit + do layout + printing etc .. Need to wait a few months before I get to see them myself too!! Long long wait!! >.<

reached MDW, they started to show us their $4000++ packages, and before we start, i told the person that we were recommended by cousin, so the guy took hub's cousin contact. and then we start discussing. I guess i gotten quite a good deal. At this stage am satisfied. Btw, can anyone advise what type of ampoule to use?

im thinking to get elsewhere for my AD since is cheaper cos i already did my PS last week and is going down to select the photos this weekend. hope it will turn out nice.
By the way, can i view your photos too?

I'm very comfortable with her and she is creative.

Hi Candice, choosing photos is really a tedious process cos too many nice photos.. hehe.. mine went smoothly too just that spend almost 4 hrs there..
i was served by Rachel as we went there quite early and she rushed over to vivo after us and another couple.
cant wait for the album to be out.. argh..
when is ur wedding?

my wedding in aug, 4 months to go.. scary.. hee
im going down in may to select AD gowns. hopefully the album will be nice and ready by july.
