Hi friends,

I have wonderful experience with my dream wedding. Especially my consultant is Maggie. She is very helpful & experience. My first impression was selection of gown, she advised me what dress match with the location. I found out dressed she showed me were all very nice. Until I didn't know which one to choose. But she matched for me with location. My hubby & me really satisfied, especially actually day gown was very grand and wonderful.
My photographer was Winson. He is a funny joyful guy. He captured all the moments & memory.

Me & my hubby love the experience there.

Hi, ive just selected my photos and opt for the forever love bedtop. Has anyone managed to get d softcopy on d forever love? I was told that those design edited softcopy for inputting into the Album will not be given to us.

Hi, my AD is finally over. Just to share some of my experience/ problems faced. I was quite disappointed with my hair-do n make-up. The morning make-up was quite a rush one thou it took abt 2 hrs.

Firstly, was my eye brow too dark n thick which giv e impression of fiece looking. Second, e curl on my hair don't last at all. When e veil was put on I realised my hair has straighten n e mua has already rush home immediately without a second of delay. Thirdly, I did applied ampoules provided by e mua but 2 hrs later i realised my make-up melted. There was glue on both my lower eye lid think was e excess fr e fake eyelash which she did not remove. Was damn obvious when I saw it. N I hv to use my own powder to touch up.

Lastly, my second hair-do wasn't nice at all. I feel it was a mess clip together n when e whole event ended n I went bk to my hotel room I was shock to c my hair has loosen n became a big chunk of Rojak. Till now i still don hv e courage to view my photos scared I will be damn disappointed.

Yah, e mua charged $20 per hair accessories n per necklace.
Paid quite a sum plus early charges n this is wat I get.

My mua is Gi**. I feel for AD really need a gd n skillful mua whom can do it fast n gd. Someone who really want u to look gd n nice in front of your guest. Trial make-up may not help here cos I remember my PS make-up n hairdo was still acceptable. But when it comes to my AD, my hairdo n make-up jus cannot last long n worst than my PS.

My fiancé n I just had a look at our prewedding shots done in sg n sad to say, we are SUPER disappointed. Thd photography was so-so with person occupying only half of photo. We ask to crop pics n they claim it cannot be done?!?! When choosing pics, they claim only can choose portrait pics cos we never upgrade to bigger album. We also had to choose frame pics from the pool of unedited pics!?!? Gosh as if we know how it will turn out after editing... Service is really bad n we seriously think the premium we are paying isn't worthwhile. Prewedding shoot gowns were also old n worn out n we cannot choose from the rack ourselves.. claimed only coordinator can choose. N worst thing, choosing pics today n coordinator did not come to say hello. I dun believe she didmt know we were coming nor saw us in the studio (i saw her!)Terrible service!

me too... pay so much specially for good and pro photos.. turned out so so only.. nothing special.. wat to do.. u engaged them for AD? i hope not!

I guessed we have the same MUA, Gina.
Did you feedback to her when she came to do your night makeup and hairdo?

She was my MUA for photoshoot and AD.
During my PS, initially I was slightly worried as there are no trial makeup/hairdo.
However, she is quite patient and did quite a good job. I'm satisfied with all my 3 hairdos and makeup.
I got very thick and stubborn hair but she is still able to handle my hair. She did mention that cos my hair is too stubborn thus the curls might not be that lasting. I'm totally aware since everytime I went salon, I was being told the same thing too. But then every outfit have different hairdo so the curls still do last till my next hairdo. And she is also creative. I just totally let her do it in her own way. And of cos, she did ask if I'm ok with it if not she will redo it.

Just before my AD, i told MDW i still wants Gina to be my MUA as I'm very comfortable with her. We also discuss how i want to look on that day. She listens to my request too when i told her that I do not want to bun up my hair although she thinks bun up is good as I'm going to wear kua for tea ceremony.

I still remembered my hubby wanted her to come my house at 7am but Gina can only arrive at 7.30am as she have another bride to do. And my hubby wants her to arrive 4 plus at the hotel but Gina can't due to another bride having solemnization.
As my hubby insisted on the timing, Gina suggested to have another MUA to help me for my banquet. My hubby agreed without telling me. I was very upset as Gina knows what I want and I only trust her. Ended up my hubby gives in and Gina is nice to try to reach as early as she can. I still remembered she came in the morning with her top stained with coffee that was spilled while on her way on the cab.

Anyway, She did a good one for my March in and 2nd hairdo. My relatives and friends compliment on it too.

On AD, she also left a pouch that consists on loose powder and hair spray and asked my bridesmaid to help me touch up whenever i need to during the morning.

Overall, I'm very happy with her working attitude and service.

Any good MUA to recommend for AD? As i will be meeting the MUA for my AD at 26 september for my NOV wedding.. Any advise or need to take note of?

To all MDW BTB,

I also one of MDW BTB.... I had took my PS on End April and also seen my edited PS pic on last 2 weeks.. myself and my hubby felt super impress and happy to see our PS pic was so nice and well done.

But right now is im worry about my AD MUA, as i pretty scare that it will turn badly or wat...

I hope everythings will be perfect and nicely done on my AD in Nov 12.

I strongly recommend Jackson and his PS assist - Irene. They are quite nice and fun, as me and my hubby is not quite photo shoot person... but, they had helped us alot...

my PS MUA is charmine(if im spell correctly). I quite love her sytle of makeup... she understand on what i want.

I hope that i can get her back as my AD MUA. (pray hard)

for me i got the same.
After i went for my AD fitting, my PS MUA called me and asked me if im using her again.

During my PS, she got asked for my wedding date and my contact.

But i told her personally that whether can she be my MUA on my AD.. she told me that i can request upon approval by her supervisor

hmm... then maybe they change policy, But then no harm asking. Just say u are very comfortable with her since she did your PS makeup and hairdo, she will know what type of style you want and like.

Hi Meiling!

hope you still remember me. I am a happy bride like you from my experience with them so far. I just had my photoshoot session last Thursday and I must say the experience was fantastic! Jaskson was my PS and he is very professional n swift. We told him some ideas that we had n he is creative to have thought of ways to accommodate us as well. Fruits, bread n water were also provided n they were very patient with us. Selecting photos 2 weeks later so we really hope photos turned out nice.

My MUA is Gina as well. My makeup turned out very nice and I liked all 3 hairdos that she made as well. She is creative and i didnt have to suggest anything n leave her to do everything. I thought bun hairdo will not be nice but she proved me wrong. I'm comfortable with her. Same as Meiling, she has arranged a date with me for AD makeup discussion that day.

Maggie is my Coordinator. So far we are happy with her service n she is able to meet our needs.
I would still recommend MDW at this stage. Hopefully the good experience continues!

Great to heard that you enjoyed your PS!
So envy~ I also want Jackson! haha! Next time i go back ask for him! My hubby have been reminding him for not being our photographer last min.

So qiao! you have Gina! good good! Gina will be very happy to know she got another happy bride with her. =)

Carol went on maternity leave le not long after I signed my package. But not too sure when she will be delivering though! Maybe when I go down for photo selection I can find out for u.

Nope, the $200 voucher is only for new sign-ups. So planning to sell it for $50 if there's anyone interested. The voucher can be used to discount off the cost of the package selected, be it PS+AD or PS, AD or ROM only.

I just got my album, and sad to say, we are really disappointed with the printing and layout.

Firstly, we saw some of the pictures with our faces blurred. They are not able to explain, simply mention that the original photos are already like that.

And they keep insisting it's the effect of wide angle lens, focusing on scenery etc.

But when I got back home and check the CD, I realised they took those pictures where we are really small, crop into half and blow it up. Which makes our faces blur.

I just cannot understand why is such work acceptable for print at such a reputable company. I seriously do not think their layout is good.

We probably going to print an album on our own.

So sorry to hear ab that. Actually what u mentioned is true. It's quite upsetting that we can't view e layout and how they will be editing our photos. And when things don't turn out well, we jolly have to accpet their explanation.

Anyway, anyone sign up their overseas package?
Any idea how will they assign their mua?

I just did my photoshoot, also had Gina for my makeup artist! seems like she is quite popular here. Yeah, think she is quite good and made me look young and her makeup style is natural. Minor gripe about her is the "hardselling" part for the ampoules.

Hi all! I'm a happy bride too! ^^ My AD just over recently. Generally quite happy with MDW.
For the layout of album, I agree that its quite sad they don't let us see whats the layout, so there's some small parts of the album that we're not that satisfied with. But besides that, we're very happy with their service. I managed to find my dream gown. My photographer was Jackson and mua is Charmaine. Super satisfied with both their skill. =D

Jefflyn: How did you find MDW's gowns overall? Did you need to top up for the gowns? Btw do you have any photos to share coz interested to see.

Is there anyway we can insist to review the layout of the album and final edited pics before the printing is done?
