MOLE REMOVAL HELP!

For mole removal, I recommend Dr John Chiam from John Chiam Medical Clinic. Address: Blk 11, Ghim Moh Road, #01-72, Singapore 270011.

Had a 0.4cm mole removed by him. He was very professional. Not much pain, as he applied some cream half an hour before the laser treatment to numb the area.

The area healed very well. No scar, despite the very deep mole (had it since birth). No regrowth so far, so quite happy about it.

Hi all, I'm Yuki, I saw all your problems on the posts above. Actually I have a shop at Toa Payoh Blk 183. I provide beauty services at very reasonable rates. Not only can I do mole removal using laser, I can also ensure that it does not come back. I also provide other beauty services like facial hair threading, eyebrow embroidery, acrylic nail extensions, nail art etc. Anybody out there who is interested in my services, do give me a ring at 9757 0330. Thanks!

I have also removed my mole from my shoulder using minor surgery at National Skin Centre. If I'm not wrong, the doctor cut a 'cross' on my skin and then remove the mole from there.

Hi Yuki, wat's the cost like for mole-removal at your salon? I got 2 protruding moles, smaller one(2mm dia) above the right side of my upper lip & a bigger one(4mm dia) on the right behind my neck.

Thanks

Hi all, how about treating a scar that left by mole removal (exision)? Now i cannot differenciate whether the mole was not removed completely or it's just the colour of the scar....

I'd like to check has anyone had their mole removed by some beautician?

Today I finally gave in and hope that my 13 black flat moles on my face (yes really a lot) would be removed successfully. I went to the one at Toa Payoh central, it's a shop that does eyebrow plucking, facial threading, pigmentation and mole removal services.

The thing that the beautician used on me was some kind of electronic pen, the pen is connected to a small machine that stated "skin massaging". When she used the electronic pen to remove my moles, it gave me those electronic shock feel and it's quite painful, and it gives out a burning smell. :-/

The procedure lasted 15 minutes and when she show me the mirror, OH MY GOD the black moles seems bigger?! I looked closely to the mirror and realised each mole is filled with "chao ta" (burn ash). She told me is like that because of the electronic pen, and she reassured me that after 5-7 days the chao ta stuff will form as an extra skin and it will drop off and there won't be any moles anymore. She also gave me a small bottle of Vitamin A & D emollient ointment for me to apply 1 week. She also said that if after 1 week my mole is still there, I can come back again and she will do for me for free.

Has anyone been through this kind of mole removal treatment by using the electronic pen stuff before? I'm very worried that the chao ta thing will not go away, cause the chao ta inside each mole looks bigger than my original mole size!

halo samantha,
i also interested in mole removing. after saw ur post i went asked my frd who was also removed her mole few years back.
but she went to doctor instead. she said doctor used kind of laser thing to remove the flat mole. she said initially will have 'chao da' but few days later the 'chao da' will dropped off de.

i heard of some beauty salon do help ppl in mole removing too. they use the laser pen to remove, i think i mole only few dollars but my frd did few years back with doctor on the removing cost her $100.

i think i will just try to remove one mole first then see how.

Hey Jasmine, thanks for replying!!!

After 1 day I realised the chao ta stuff has dropped off from 6 of my moles, the moles are gone (I think) but it left a pinkish blood thing...and the other 5 moles still got the chao ta stuff in it. I called up the beautician and she told me to be patient, she said the blood thing is normal and the rest of my chao ta moles will fall off soon, and she told me NEVER use my finger to pick on it.

Did your friend had her procedure at NSC? Are you going to do it by a doctor or a beautician from salon?

hi,
i have a mole on my face i want to get removed. I consulted joyce lim, but was not happy with the explanation she gave. she was more interested in removing the mole, and not least concerned if it left a scar. so now i am confused where to go..as this is the face, i need to be very careful.
has any one tried the plastic surgeon woffles wu? don't know if he's good for mole removal.. also what about neu glow? are they recommended for mole removal by laser or radiosurgery? these are the only methods for scarless mole removal so i would like to consult a surgeon who does both. any help will be appreciated. thanks.

I am going to get it over and done with early next month. Wish me luck! And wish you luck too! =)

hi all,

I have a lot of syringoma (small seeds) around my upper and lower eye lids on both eyes.
I am looking for a good dermatologist to do a laser and remove all these seeds.
Anyone please recommend me a good dermatologist?

i did mine at tpy central, just beside the EC house. went there for threading/eyebrow shaping then i asked the lady about the mole removal. but need to becarful, one of the lady quite inexperience zzzz.. the 2nd time i went back to zap one bigger mole again, she didnt put the anesthetic lotion before zapping.. :'( *cries*
the vitamin A&D ointment is really cool. heals very fast and leaves no scar.. even better than pimple cream. i highly recommend to those who once a while have breakouts like me

I went to NeuGlow Aesthetics at Novena Square today, to consult about the moles using laser. The doctor looked good and told its 100 $ per mole. Not sure if that is costly. I told him i will come later.
Am thinking of going to NSC and consult there too.. Do we have any cheaper options than that? Also how good is NeuGlow aesthetics?

had a couple taken off my cheek (more medical than cosmetic). it's nothing, in and out. it was kinda weird with a local anaesthetic cause you can feel your face being tugged and the skin letting loose...but other than that...no pain (other than the initial needle).

i can't say it's helped my social life in the least (just as pathetic now as it always was...) but at least i don't have to worry if they're going to turn into something worse.

if you're worried about pain, don't cause it's nothing.

My mom had a mole removed from her foot because the doc said it could grow cancerous.
My SIL had a mole removed from her face. It was umm sort of large protruding one that sat on her nose, this was purely cosmetic but she faked that it was hurting to convince her doc to remove it.
Neither of them had any problems since the removal.

I personally think having mole emova is a good idea and your taking control of a possible health problem in the future.
Some docs will remove moles in there surgery or you can get a referral to see a consultant.

I looked onto getting a few removed from my back and one near my neck, i have a good reason for wanting them removed as i upped my chances of skin cancer a few years back when i was living in New Zealand, i suffered second degree UV burns on 90% of the top half of my bod and spent hundreds of dollars on treatments.
The doctor just kept moaning about how bad the scarring would be...like i give a flying wotsit, i'd rather have a scar than a cancer!

I had some moles removed at NSC many years ago. They are the best people to do mole removal as they are the specialists in skincare apart from the plastic surgeons. Joyce Lim is also quite famous and used to be from NSC also. It is expected to have mild marks left.

I had a smaller mole removed on the right side of face, not obvious part - below ear area when doing laser treatment at another dr. He didnt charge me as i paid 230 for my spectrapeel already.

It is about 100 for one mole usually and 300 for many moles he mentioned.

They told me that i can go back to work the next day but will have red dots on my face, hence I only took 2 days (just in case).

When I arrived for my mole removal, the staff were friendly and assuring cause I was pretty nervous. They offered me warm water to calm me down...I felt quite touched.

Then they showed me to a room that looked very cozy and put numbing cream on my face (very cooling!). Because they told me it will take about 15mins for the cream to effect, I took a sit on the very comfortable armchair and read the magazine. I was not uncomfortable because there was alot of privacy - I was alone in the room.

When times up, they wiped the cream off my face and I was showed into another white room. I was sitted onto a dentist chair look-alike...suddenly felt abit nervous again but soon calmed down cause the nurse started to talk to me, placed a towel cover my legs and reassured me that it will be over very soon.

The doctor came in and after placing a black goggle over my eyes, the doctor told me to try to relax before she started to zap away the moles.

It took only about 15mins. When I looked into the mirror, I was abit shocked cause the moles now became holes!

After the nurse returned, she assured me that it will heal very quickly and by tommorrow they will just become red dots.

I went home and rested early.

The holes turned into red dots the next day just like they said. After about one to two weeks, the red dots started to fade and now you can never tell that I used to have so many moles on my face!

I really like the effect - you should try too!

It was about $200 per mole but I got a really good deal from one of their seminars... think they having another one in Sept...you should look out for it! All the best!

Hi Pigletbride,

I have been thinking of getting a mole on my nose removed. Was Dr Wu any good? Did the treatment leave a scar? I don't care about the monetary cost associated with the treatment, but am scared of scar it might leave. My mole does not look bad, so don't want a scar, which will look bad. Any information would be useful. Thanks a lot!

Hi anyone have removed their mole and now it becomes a small lump of ur face? I had mine removed since dec and it seems like instead of healing flat as per skin color there is a lump protruding out. The other one is jus reddish n still waiting to heal. I'm q worried as this turns out more ugly than my original mole n bigger in fact
