MOLE REMOVAL HELP!

Hi just wanted to share my personal experience about cream mole removal and laser. I tried to get 3 moles on my face removed in a beauty saloon using cream 2 years ago. After the beautician applied the cream and I waited for about 15mins, she proceeded to scrap the moles using some sort of a metal tool. Firstly, it hurt very much, secondly, after she was done with the process, my skin was red and painful. Cost me $90. A week later, after my skin healed, the moles were still there. Afterwards, someone recommended me laser removal at a shop at Toa Payoh. I went there, was quoted $75 and assured they'll never come back. I agreed and the procedure took about 15mins also, with local anaesthetic, thus quite painless. After my skin healed, the moles were gone, there was no visible scars and the moles never grew back!

Just to share an experience. Last year, I went to a dermatology clinic to get 2 moles removed from my face, a large one near the top of my forehead and a smaller one on my left cheek, both were the raised type. The doctor asked if I wanted surgery or just application of some chemical to remove them. Naturally, I chose not to have surgery thinking that it'll leave scars!

Then he proceeded to apply a white cream onto the 2 places saying that it may be a little painful. I felt pretty scared. The next 10-15mins were the most agonizing in my life as I felt the chemical eating into the flesh on my skin! I nearly cried but the doctor just reassured me to bear with it for a little while more and the pain would be over!

Tears were forming in my eyes. Then he took out something that looked like a scapula and started scrapping at the mole on my cheek. It was over in less than a minute. Then he proceeded to scrape the larger mole. That took nearly 5 whole minutes. You cannot imagine the suffering I went through. Finally, when it was all bloody and over, I was told to rinse my face and another white cream was applied (probably antiseptic of something) and I was given antibiotics and an antiseptic cream and told to return 1 week later to check if there's any infection and stuff.

The whole treatment cost $300, inclusive of the medication. I did not return for check up a week later as I was too traumatized! Fortunately, my wounds healed without any complications. Unfortunately, the smaller mole was removed leaving a crater about twice the size of the mole but the larger mole was only partially removed! The doctor had only managed to remove the raised part of the mole but though the mole is flat now, the colour is still there!

Coincidentally, my close friend recommended me to Yuki, who was at Toa Payoh then. I went to see her and was told that had I gone to her for mole removal treatment earlier, I would not have the crater on my cheek and the larger mole would also have been removed without having to suffer so much pain. Anyway, she charged me $60 for the removal of the larger mole and an additional $15 for a scar cream. She used anesthetic and the whole procedure took only about 20mins. There was no pain, only a slight discomfort. I was told not to eat certain food and to return to see her if the mole was not completely removed.

Similarly, my wound healed and a scab was formed in about a week. I followed her instructions and after the scab fell off, the skin under was flat, but slightly pink in colour. However, in about 2 months, the colour of the wound became almost the same as the areas around it. Now, about a year later, you can't even tell that I had ever had a mole there.

I also found out from her that blemishes can also be removed, so I took my mum to see her and she also removed all the blemishes that were on my mum's face. Thanks Yuki.

Mole Removal Experience And Information
This is for the benefit of all guys and girls out there who have moles but do think that they are pretty unsightly and would like them to be removed painlessly and permanently without leaving any scars.

Sharing my own personal experience.

I had 2 moles removed from my face and 3 moles removed from my neck on 2 separate occasions about 1 1/2 to 2 years ago. It was done by a young lady using laser at a shop at Toa Payoh. The whole process took about 20 mins and was relatively painless as she used local anaesthetic. She was extremely professional and careful, was also told how to take care of the wounds and what to avoid eating.

Both cases costs me about $40 each, which I felt was pretty reasonable. The wounds healed in about a week and what's most incredible is that my skin looks as if the moles were never ever there now!

I'm very thankful that she did a good job for me, hence this is to help her out by maybe giving her some business. For all those who might be interested, do visit Rebirth Aesthetics | Facebook or call or msg Yuki at 9757 0330. Cheers!

Mole has different nature. Some moles are indications of cancer. Thus different technique of removing it is available. For what I understand, there is surgical and laser removal of mole. When you choose to remove using surgical technique, the doctor would often offer to send the removed mole for screening to check for cancer. Otherwise laser mole removal just flattens the mole. My cousin went to this doctor to consult before and also has her BBL sessions done with him. You may like to check it out. http://evanwooplasticsurgery.com/profile.html

Hi Everyone! Any recommendation for mole removal? I have like more than 10 of them on my face

most of them might be due to sun exposure as I don't have the habit of applying sunscreen previously. I just enquired from Avone at JEM. $10 and above depending on size. They mention using laser and numb cream. However I read reviews online and they seem rather pushy and unprofessional? Help please! Thanks!

She charges $120 per mole but if u do more it's cheaper. Painful when they inject the anesthetic but nothing unbearable. But my pain tolerance quite high lah. I just went for a 2nd round cos still have some traces. After 1st round, if need subsequent follow-up treatments, it's free!

Oh my, that sounds expensive as I have more than 10 moles on my face :(

Anyone tried Dr. Donald Ng from Alaxis before? I googled and there's mixed reviews.

I just had my mole removed at Prive Clinic... a slightly raised one 4mm in diameter, so it was done by excision. Really good experience I would say, and it appears to be healing well now.

i read e posts here... but no one has mentioned which fortune teller u all went to before removed ur moles. any fortune teller to recommend to see if moles are good or bad? locatoion n contact number pls.

I've had my moles lasered off by Dr Leo Kah Woon :D safer and much faster to have it done by a professional. I had a mole before on the fold between my nose and cheek above my right nostril. It's small but it juts out. What I did then was try to remove it myself by pulling it. For some reason it didn't hurt so much but it did bleed a lot. It was a messy affair so please just have it done by a doctor :D
it is expensive? how much was it?
