Hi lovee,
Sure no worries. I welcome all qns
1. I am thinking of holding my daughter's first year old birthday (she is born in 19th jan 2009)in january either 16 or 17th jan 2010. can you advise which date is good to do so? do you need my family's zodiac? just in case: husband snake 1977, elder son rooster 2005, myself horse 1978.
>>> Both these dates are not very good dates. A better weekend date nearest to her birthday will be 10th Jan. However, if only 16th or 17th, then 16th will be better.
2. you mentioned before that it is better to buy resale flat than BTO flat? if we are getting a resale flat, at what point of time must we invite a fengshui master to see the house? cause i am a bit new here. is it that we take the floor plan and location of the flat and let the fengshui master sees?
>> Floor plan alone and estate plan cannot determine if a unit is good or bad. It is insufficient. The feng shui master MUST go down to the unit to determine if it is good or bad. From the estate plan, we can determine which block is better using landforms feng shui, but for the individual unit itself, there is no short cut solution except to go to the unit to determine.
Usually the way to do it will be that you can see the units first and shortlist those that you like. And arrange a date with a master to go down to see those units and see which is the best. Most importantly, the master must be able to tell you WHY that unit is good or bad (ie how it will affect the occupants if they stay there in the long run, such as wealth, health, relationships etc etc). And in a language that layman can understand, not just using some Chinese idioms or metaphors or Feng Shui technical jargons that layman will not understand. If they do it that way, frankly, how you know he is not "smoking" you? Anyone also can do that, right?
Is there any way we can sees whether a new condominium or flat that has not been build yet is suitable for our family?
>> We can "estimate" based on the floor and estate plan. But in reality, sometimes the compass directions drawn on the estate plan may turn out differently after it is constructed. A little difference can make a lot of difference in feng shui. Hence, yes we can do it, but "estimate" only and we still need to verify once it is built. We can also eliminate those that is 100% bad units according to the directions, landforms and other factors. I think this will be more useful.
I have invited a fengshui master to take a look at my flat before, and he said the house and our "ming" is not compatible. i was greatly disturbed by his words and is considering to shift house, but this time, definitely must get one suitable for us.
>> this is too vague. did he elaborate more? In what aspects such as wealth, career, health, marriage? Every house will affect you in some way, good or bad. By not compatible, we must also know why it is not.
Hope this helps
