Hi Master Tong,

We are looking at 17/5, 13/7 or 22/11 for our ROM + tea ceremony. We won't be having banquet, but I read from earlier post that 2014 is not a good year for rat. Due to personal reasons, is there a way that we can work it out?


Groom: Rooster
Bride: rat
Parents: rooster & rabbit
In-laws: pig & rabbit

Appreciate your kind advice.

Only 22nd nov is a potentially good date as it doesn't clash anyone. Will need to check the tong Shu when out these 2 wks

Will be out these few days or week.

Only 22 and 29 nov don't clash. Rest are in leap month or Sui Po month (7/12-5/1) (month clash to year, not a good mth for impt activities)

You can either rom this year snake yr so that you are officially married this yr and banquet next yr. this is the only workard. Else you can only the better dates in the not so good yr using bazi

17/5 is super bad day
13/7 clash rabbit
22/11 clash rabbit.

All dates cannot be used

Jan is fine

The tong Shu will only be out these few days or week, so can't check now till out. The only way is using bazi to select. Tong Shu are just generic dates and not accurate. Meant for mass consumption only.

That is not a general tong Shu good date for wedding.

A general good dates to rom in jan will be 10th jan.

**Note that Tong Shu dates are general dates only. The date can till be considered inauspicious if the date is not compatible with both your bazi**

That is not a general good date for wedding in tong Shu. It does not clash to anyone though.hence it can only be used if the date matches both your bazi

29th nov clashes to dog, cannot be used

Yes 2015 goat yr clashes to Ox, not good for wedding.

2013 is fine but I guess bit too late, most venues are full

A general good weekend in nov will b 22/11. Dec no dates as the month no good. It is 岁破, the month clashes the year, hence a bad month (7/12-5/1)

10th feb is cny period and Chinese don't hold wedding in cny period

28th June is not a general tong Shu good date for wedding, but doesn't clash anyone (clash rat)

The fetch the bride timing will be 9-11am.

Groom will step into bride hse at 9am, fetch bride back to his home and finish tea ceremony by 11am to groom parents. After that going back bride place for tea ceremony is "free and easy", no timing required.

I have 2 questions would like you to advise me.. Appreciate your help :)

1.) Can you advise me the auspicious time for groom to fetch the bride.
2.) I noted zodiac dog is clashed on 06sep, I have a funny qestion to ask you, hope you don't mind... My HTB house have adopt a dog, in that case does it consider clash also??

Groom dad: 1954, 7th month, 19th - horse
Groom mum: 1962, 2nd month, 15th - tiger

Bride: 1988, 3rd month, 27th (11pm) - dragon
Bride dad: 1957, 10th month, 27th - chicken
Bride mum: 1961, 11th month, 12th - cow

By the way, what is the difference between tong shu dates and bazi dates? Does tong shu dates only take into account the zodiac signs only?

Do you also provide feng shui advices for new house? Able to send me the package pricing?

For nov, only 22/11 is a general good weekend date and don't clash anyone

Dec 2014 is Year breaker month, not a good month for wedding if possible

The tong Shu for 2015 will only be out next year sept. I can only advise general dates after it is out next year. Now the only way to select is using bazi to select 2015 dates. Either yr ok but if you want to compare, 2014 is better. But then, for 2014, most venues r packed already :)

For 15/3 it clashes to monkey and for 8/3 it clashes to Ox, so both dates r out

29th July 2015 clash rat, cannot be used

For July 2014", the general good dates is 19th July only. Rest of the weekends in July not good or clashes

FYI, 2014 is not a good yr for your rom as horse yr 2014 clashes to Rat. 2015 is better

20th sept is not a general tong Shu good date for wedding

Tong Shu only factor in zodiac signs, hence not accurate enough as logically speaking, how can be if a day is good for rat to get married, and all the rat in the world can get married that day? It is like saying Virgo this year will earn big bucks and all the Virgo in the world will earn big bucks! Not logical. Bazi factor in birthday and time of birth, hence this is the most accurate way to calculate. A good date in the tong Shu can still be considered inauspicious if the date is not compatible with both your bazi
