Hi Master Tong,

Due to the deadline given by HDB to submit the marriage cert and the renovation period, we have to do it in 2015.
Is 14 March 2015 or 16 May 2015 a good date for both of us?

Note: below dates are english date. Not lunar date.

Groom: 4 March 1983 (pig)
Bride: 16 May 1985 (ox)

Groom's Dad: 1 Jan 1957 (Monkey)
Groom's Mom: Divorced

Bride's Dad: 18 May 1949 (ox)
Bride's Mom: 31 Jan 1957 (rooster)

The tong Shu for 2014 will only be out next 2 months, so I can only check general dates after it is out. Now the only way is using bazi to select which is the right method as tong Shu is too generic

14/3 is a very bad date. 16/5 is in lunar 3rd mth Qing Ming . So both cannot be used. The tong Shu for 2015 will only b out next yr sept. so I can only advise general dates after it is out . Now the only way is using both your bazi to select the dates

Thank you for your reply! Is there any way to minimise the impact of getting married during CNY because that is the most favourable period because my brother is studying overseas and can only make it during this period.

Hi Master Tong,

My fiance and I book our wedding date to be 29 Nov 2014. However we realised that the date clashes with the "Dog" zodiac sign, which his mother has. Does the the zodiac signs of the parents/siblings matter when choosing an auspicious wedding date, or only the couple's zodiac signs? Our zodiac signs are

Groom and Groom's father: Tiger
Groom's mother: Dog
Bride: Rabbit
Bride's mother: Hen
Bride's father: Dragon

Unfortunately we are unable to change the wedding date as we have already booked the event venues. If the zodiac of the parents matter, is there anything that we can do to neutralize the clash? Please help. Thanks.

There is no way to work ard this but this is more of Chinese superstition not feng shui,so you have to decide if you want to follow or not

Morning Master,

Would like to check if 2 Nov 13 is good for customary wedding dinner?

Groom: 01 Nov 1984(RAT)
Bride: 01 Feb 1985 (RAT/COW)?

Family Members have TIGERS, SNAKES, PIG and RABBIT.

I did a little search, seems it clashes with TIGERS (my mum & sister). What should we do if so, my ROM has been done in 31 Dec 2010 already.

Please advise, kinda urgent. Going to meet-up with hotel later on to confirm dates. :)

This is our Chinese superstition, not feng shui. No one can measure superstition, so no one can tell you how bad it is. Better to believe for once than sorry later
 
Hi colordeficiency

That day clash to tiger, so cannot be used at all if clashes to parents. There is no workaround solution, you have to use other dates as nobody choose date that bring bad luck to one's parents
