Can you advice which of dates of Nov and Dec 2011 is good for wedding? (Preferably Thursday) Thanks lots!!!

Bride's Dad : Rat (Deceased)
Bride's Mum : Rabbit

Can I check if choosing wedding dates will affect the in-laws' animal zodiac signs?
My MIL insisted that the wedding date has to be compatible with theirs and not only the wedding couple's, is that true? Do we have to take into account of the parents' birthday and time as well? I thought marriage date would be most important to the couple's blissfulness, would there be any major issue if the wedding date crash with the parent's zodiac?
Or should we base this on bazi of the couple or for whole family? And the tongshu is based on animal zodiac or birth dates? Is there a difference between temple medium readings and Fengshui master readings? Which is reccomended? So soory, if my questions sounded confusing as I'm confused at the different advices elderly gave.
Is there any good dates in Oct, Nov or Dec 2010 which are suitable for goat and tiger?

Both yr does not clash to any of you. However, to be exact to determine which yr better, there is no way to find out except to see both your Bazi. Animal sign alone can only be used to determine if it clashes to the yr.

I don't sell the tong shu. It is out in Singapore, and i assume so for Hong Kong and other countries. For Indonesia, i have no idea where you can get it

5th Nov 2011 is not a general tong shu good date. However, it does not clash any of you (clash Horse). hence it can only be used if that date is compatible with both your bazi.

Hi procodin,

The in-laws animal signs are taken into consideration to make sure the date don't clash with them only. It is not part of the calculation of the wedding dates and wedding is for both of you only and only both your bazi are taken into consideration. Parents' birthday and time of birth need NOT be taken into cosideration. They are not the ones getting married. Only animal signs will do.

The date chosen must be compatible with the couple only, not parents. However, wedding date cannot clash with parent's zodiac. It will mean after marriage, the relationship between couple and parents may turn sour. Hence we don't choose a date that clash parents or couple.

Tong Shu is based on the animal zodiac signs only, not Bazi.

And yes, reading by Feng Shui masters and temple/medium will be different. For feng shui masters who know, we use Bazi for date selections, no matter for what occasions, as tong shu is very generic only and not accurate enough. For temple and mediums, they mostly use the tong shu only.

This date is not a general tong shu good date for wedding, but it doesn't clash anyone (clash Ox).

This date can still be used and considered good if the date and both your bazi are compatible.

And yes, you can book wedding banquets in 7th month, why not? But if your parents are superstitious and don't allow you to book so,you still have to please them and wait till 7th mth is over. From a strict Feng Shui perspective, there is no concern and will not harm you or whatsoever.

Andy: you are a rooster like me... David has mentioned many times that Rabbit Lunar year 2011 is a bad year for marriage for roosters... hence, no suitable dates in Rabbit Lunar Year 2011...

David: I think you need to put a sticky somewhere that for Roosters, in Lunar Rabbit Year 2011 after 4th Feb 2011.. its not a good year for Roosters to get married... else you will be repeating yourself so many times in this forum... like you had mentioned, so-called good dates in tong shu are only very very general... it may still end up being a bad date if it clashes with one's bazi... hope all GTBs/BTBs can consider these... might as well pay a little sum ($100) and get detailed reading through your own bazi with David.

LuvyveL: the tong shu for 2012 is not out... hence the only way whether David can determine good dates for you is through reading your Bazi, then only he can give you personalised dates.... his charges are reasonable... $100, and he will give you 4 dates / timings through your bazi..

- ROM (Date and Auspicious Timings)
- AD (Date and Auspicious Timings)
- Guo Da Li
- An Chuan

5th Nov 2011 is not a general good tong shu date for wedding. If the date is compatible with both your bazi,it can still be used and consider a good date. However, bazi computation of dates is part of my consultation service, hence i can't provide it free here, else will be unfair to my clients. Hope you understand.

For other general tong shu dates in Nov 2011, here they are:

- 09/11, 12/11, 19/11, 20/11, 21/11, 24/11

Both Tiger and Rabbit yr don't clash to your birth yr, so either will do. To fine tune and check which of these 2 yrs are better, I will have to see both your Bazi to decide. Animal signs alone is insufficient.

ALL dates in 2011 will clash with Rooster. Even if you use tong shu, all the dates will be reflected as "xiong" for those born in Rooster yr.

And weixiang is correct. The only 2011 dates you can use will be from 1st Jan 2011 - 3rd Feb 2011, still under Tiger yr.

Both these dates don't clash to any of you.

The tong shu for 2012 is not out yet and general tong shu good dates are checked from the tong shu, hence if you want to check if the dates are general tong shu good dates, will have to wait till it is out next yr around this time (7th lunar month). The only way to check now is using Bazi to compute the dates. By the time the tong shu is out in 2012, most of the weekends dates will be gone (like for 2011 now).

Hi Andy,

For those born in Rooster yr, 2011 is not a good yr for marriage. However, since the bride is born in Dog yr, 2012 dragon yr will not be good as well. Hence ideally the best will be this yr 2010 or 2013.
 
Hi Master Tong,

Does it matter whether we are going by the date of our ROM or the AD?

Our ROM date was easier to get - so it's a 'good day' for the 2010 Tong Shu (16th Sep).

But for the AD, we couldn't get the 10 Oct that we wanted and had to settle for 9 Oct instead. It's not a good or bad day.
If my fiancee is a Goat and I'm a Rooster, does 9 Oct work?

Both dates are just as important. Normally we choose good days for both if possible. ROM is will even more impt since that is the day both of you officially become husband and wife.

For your AD, 9th Oct 2010 is a super bad day. Normally you will be able to get this day in most hotels coz it will be a day no one wants to take. But it is a very bad day and change it if possible.
