Hi pinkfan18,

This is not a general Tong Shu date for wedding. It doesn't clash to anyone though. If this date maches your Bazi, it can still be overriden using Bazi.

Hope this helps ;)

Hi tino,

This is not a good date for wedding, and not a general tong shu good date for wedding as well. Choose another day if possible

Hope this helps

Hi Guan Ying,

All these weekends dates you listed are not general Tong Shu auspicious date for wedding.

You can use 05/06/2010. This is the only general tong shu good date in June you can use if you are looking at only general tong shu dates.

Hope this helps

Hi Master Tong,

Our birthdays falls on 07/01/1980 and 13/10/1980. So is this date good?

Any other dates in Dec which are good as well?

Hi pinkfan18,

For bazi, I will need the time of birth as well besides the birthday. However, as this is part of my consultation service, I cannot provide it here free of charge or it will be unfair to all my clients. Hope you understand

Hi Master Tong,

My AD is in Sept next year and my friend has asked me to be her 'jie mei' on her AD this year in Dec 2009. Would it 'clash' with my luck or something?

Hi traf,

Here are some general tong shu dates you can use. Note that these are 'general' dates only. Bazi is not taken into account yet as a good day in the tong shu can still be deemed inauspicious if the date selected is not compatible with the Bazi.

- 07/10, 11/10, 20/10, 23/10, 04/11, 12/11, 13/11, 14/11, 26/11, 01/12, 08/12, 18/12, 26/12

Hope this helps

Hi Sheryl,

This is about 9 months apart, so it is ok, not to worry. Normally 3 mths before and after your wedding, you cannot attend other people's wedding, funerals or childbirth. Yours is ok in this case

Hi Grace,

Generally I will still advise avoid Tiger yr. If you use the tong shu method, when you open up the tong shu, every single day is reflected as "xiong", which means inauspicious.

Nevertheless, if you really want to do it next yr, here are some general dates for ROM :

- 05/07, 08/07, 10/07, 13/07, 22/07, 01/08 (rest of august is 7th lunar month)

AD:

- 04/11, 14/11, 17/11, 26/11, 01/12, 08/12, 20/12,

Hope this helps

Hi Master Tong,

Please advise if any weekends in May / June is ok for me and my fiance to get married. If it's not good, is there anything we can do or avoid doing to help? If we are doing our ROM and AD on separate days, which is more important to follow?

Groom: Goat
Groom dad: Horse
Groom mum: Goat

Bride: Monkey
Bride dad: Rat
Bride mum: Tiger

Many many thanks!

Hi kinokino,

You are born in year of the Monkey, and next yr tiger will clash with you. Hence not advisable to get married next yr.

You can't do anything to cure this coz date selection is a form of astrology. You can't change the planetary positions.

If you are doing it on separate days, ROM will be more important. However, the groom is born in yr of the Goat and will clash with Ox this yr. Hence this yr 2009 is not ideal as well. If we are talking about perfect scenario, wait till 2011 Rabbit Year is the best coz it won't clash to anyone.

Hope this helps and let me know if you still want to do it in 2010.

Hi Jiafeng,

Here are some 'general' tong shu dates you can use (Bazi not taken into account yet):

- 03/07/10

Only 1 date available. The rest of the tong shu dates will clash with either of you or your parents, so cannot be used.

If you really have to do it in June/July, the only way to do it wil be using Bazi to calculate as Bazi can 'override" some of the dates in the tong shu which did not state as good for wedding.

Hope this helps.

Hi jazzswift,

2010 Tiger year will clash with you, who is born in monkey year. Hence, it is not good for marriage for you next yr. Ideally you should do it in 2011.

Hope this helps.

Hi Kass,

Yes i can select dates for 2011 now. In fact, I have already more than 40 couples asking for 2011 dates already. Now is the best time to select 2011 dates coz some hotels already opened the bookings for 2011 dates, while for others, i believe they will do so last qtr of the yr or beginning next yr when the 2010 dates are more or less sold out. You are almost 99% guaranteed being able to book your dream hotel if you do it now.

Bear in mind tong shu for 2011 will only be out next year 2010 7th lunar month period, which is around this time. By then, most of the good weekend dates will already be taken up (just like now for 2010 weekend dates...).

Hope this helps

Hi David,
I am so so so sorry for troubling you on my AD date. Sigh.

I would like to choose 6 March 2010 for my AD, though I know I should'nt get married in 2010 as I am under the sign of Monkey. Is there any weekend date I can choose for March as I love no.3....

Bride: Monkey
Father: Rabbit
Mother: Horse

Groom: Goat

Hi Steffie,

Here are some 'general' dates u can use:

ROM Nov/Dec 2010: 04/11, 12/11, 17/11, 24/11, 01/12, 06/12, 18/12

Customary wedding Dec 2010/Jan 2011: 06/12, 18/12, 06/01, 14/01, 15/01, 18/01, 30/01

Note that these are general dates from the tong shu only. Your Bazi is not taken into account yet. A good date in the tong shu can still be deemed inauspicious for both of you if the date is not compatible with both your Bazi.

Hope this helps

Hi esther,

If you are talking about general tong shu dates for march 2010 weekends, only 28th march is a general good date but this day clash with Goat, so cannot be used as the groom is Goat.

Alternatively is to use Bazi to select dates as Bazi dates can override tong shu dates, hence making those dates which didn't state as 'Good for Wedding' in the tong shu as useable and good dates.

Hope this helps.
