Dear Master Tong,

Me and my fiancé intend to hold our rom and wedding lunch together any weekend between Jan to Mar 2017.

Groom: 4 Mar 1988 (Dragon)
Groom Dad: 26 Sep 1955 (Goat)
Groom Mum: 7 Sep 1961 (Ox)

Bride: 9 May 1990 (Horse)
Bride Dad: 26 Sep 1956 (Monkey)
Bride Mum: 21 Nov 1960 (Rat)

Would like to seek your kind advice on the suitable dates available. Thank you in advance!

I have a timing that bride is to leave the house at 9am and to reach groom's place by 11am.
I'm wondering is it possible to push the timing earlier??
(Both groom and bride is Hokkien)

Hi Skull_xfz

The tong shu for 2017 will only be out in Aug/sep next year. Hence we can only check for general dates then. For now, the only way is using Bazi to calculate

For Bazi, it is part of my consultation service hence I do charge for it. You can email me [email protected] for more details on this pkg

Hi Master Tong,

My fiancé and I are looking to hold our ROM on 20th July 2016 and banquet in Dec. However, we noticed that this day clashes with his zodiac sign (rooster). Is there anything we can do to overcome it? As this date is really meaningful to us.

For our banquet, do we need to check if it clashes with any zodiac signs? We've checked that it's an ok date for wedding though.

Bride's zodiac: rabbit (1987)
Groom's zodiac: rooster (1981)

Would appreciate if you could advise us on the auspicious Date and Time for the followings:

1. Guo Da Li auspicious date & time

2. An Chuang (our BTO will be done in year 2018, live at groom place after married)

3. Gatecrashing (time that groom has to arrive) on 10 SEP 2016

4. Fetch the bride auspicious time on 10 SEP 2016

5. Auspicious time to reach groom place on 10 SEP 2016

6. Tea Ceremony for both side (Bride & Groom) on 10 SEP 2016

Hi pardon my ignorance but when u all say bazi, it also includes time of birth? Seems like all are giving only date of birth and zodiac which can used to trace good dates for wedding and rom using tongshu. Tong shu will generally state which day is good for marriage at the same time state which zodiac it will clash with...more advise is appreciated

Good day Master Tong,

I understand that 2016 is not a good year for Tiger (1986) to get married. Is that true that we have to avoid the entire year?

We are looking at 1Jul2016 for ROM but I noticed that it clashes with Tiger. I am wondering if we go for Bazi calculation will it be more accurate and overrides the Tong Shu? Or shall we avoid this date totally?

I was told that 2016 is a bad year for dragon born in 1988 to get married, as it 犯太岁. Is it true?

Groom: rat 1984
Bride: dragon 1988

Groom's dad: tiger 1950
Groom's mum and bride's dad: snake 1953
Bride's mum: dog 1958

We are looking at 2nd Oct 2016. Is this a good date for us to get married? If not, what are the good alternative weekends after the 7th lunar month?

Could you also advise us on the auspicious dates & timing for the following based on either 2nd Oct or your recommended date:
1. Renovation
2. Guo da li
3. An chuang
4. Gatecrash
5. Tea ceremony
6. Time for Rom (preferably same day as ceremony)
7. Time to fetch the bride

Fetch the bride timing will b 9-11am.

There are no gd weekend after 7th for GDL, so your GDL will have to be in july b4 7th mth on 10th Jul, 11-1pm

AC must be BEFORE wedding, hence gd date will be 8th Sep, 11-1pm
