The tong shu for 2012 is not out yet. Right now, the only way to choose is using Bazi to select the dates.

As in previous post, i've mentioned that once tong shu is out, most venues will be full so do be prepared if you are booking weekend hotel banquet (see my previous post reply to l_mira)

Yes ideally avoid 2013 is possible. If you really can't, we can only pick the best date in 2013 to do it, and preferably ROM in 2012, so at least you are officially married in a better yr

For 2013 dates, the tong shu wont be out till next yr this month, so you have to use Bazi to select the dates, which i just started to do so last month and well, i've already done over 50 couples for 2013. Hence by the time next yr comes, to be frank, most hotels in SG will pretty much fully booked for the very good dates, so if you want to do 2013 dates, now is the best time to select as you will beat the crowd and be able to book the hotel under your wish list

Generally that is not a very ideal date that i will choose for marriage. But if none of your parents are Goat (clash to Goat that day) and if the date fit your bazi, still can be used (though not the best).

the tong shu for 2012 is not out yet hence you can only use bazi to select for now. Tong shu is meant for mass consumption only and insufficient. Bazi dates are specifically good to the couple.

Just realised I made a mistake in the animal zodiac of the groom's dad. He is born is 1941 and therefore shd b a "snake". Bride's mum is a "rat" though. Does that mean it still clashes?
Is it also true that I shd not get married in my own birthday month?
Yes, Bali is getting more popular now but it also makes choosing the date more difficult as we have to consider the convenience of our guests and so it shd b on the weekends or a holiday, etc.

2013 is fine. It doesn't clash to both of you. If you want to hold wedding in 2013, you must select now as now is the best time to do so. Whatever hotel you want, you are almost certain of getting it.If you wait till after christmas this yr, then a lot of weekends for popular hotels will be pretty packed, at least for 1st half of 2013. Reason coz most 2012 hotel dates are full already, so many are going for 2013.

8th Oct - 6th Nov is a bad period for wedding. It is the Year Breaker month (Sui Po).

And generally Kai Ri is ok too. if you want all Cheng Ri, there are not many to choose from. Anyway, the dates are just general tong shu dates, hence you can use Chen, Kai, Man, Ding, Ping etc. However, if these dates are not compatible with Bazi, it is still considered inauspicious!
